Both of those guys are more like a playmakers and sure they are and Jordan Staal is very, very amazing two way forward with great heart. Much more better in the defensive zone than Backstrom or Toews and he's making so much more 'invisible' job out there than Backstrom or Toews. If I had to pick someone from these 3 guys to be my teams 2nd or 3rd line center, of course I would take Staal.

Toews (much more like a playmaker, great player, +6 million guy obviously) or Jordan Staal (good off. and def(!) awareness, amazing prototype of two way forward, not +6 million guy). Here's my point; you cant have 3 superstar-centers in your team. It's impossible.
