As an American, I will do my part to make clear in my thinking that it's not all Muslims who did this, but only a group of angry, desperate and pathetic Muslims. It's weakness, not strength.

just as foreigners have (in most cases with great cause due to us foreign policy since 9/11) characterized the us as hateful, terrible, greedy, power-hungry people, we have wrongly characterized all people of middle-eastern descent as terrorists. hopefully under obama we can rebuild global reputation and people in general can really learn to tolerate each other and realize that extremists exist in the minority but as a whole we can be tolerant (and i better not here any obama is muslim comments)
