I still have yet to get one this year. I hunt in an archery only section of public land so that keeps some of the nuts away, but its not much better. You should contact your local wildlife officer and ask them about the laws regarding hunter harassment. There are laws against that that passed many years ago. Video proof would secure the case and you could potentially hunt in peace.....except for the hunters that walk around aimlessly during peak deer activity time. Does not look like fun hunting out where you are.

@JaseHunter Just an idea. Maybe you can call the local officer and set up an appointment. Be persistent and patient. Call the big boss if local guys don't work. I know it seems like a pain, but the guys bugging you thinking it's cute and within their rights need to be informed that its not their right to do so. Thats public land anywhere you go. Here in wisconsin guys will be walking around, they will sit down fifty yards from you. Ive never seen it that bad though with the airhorns,etc. I know theres a law about that in Wisconsin that you cant mess with another guy while hunting.

Dude, I feel your pain. Opening day or archery in 5B I had two guys walk right under my tree at first lights and head straight into a large bedding area. They wandered back around 11:00 telling me about the seven doe and big buck they had seen run out of the bedding area. Unbelievable. Good luck in the future :)

This year during buck season my father I set up a tree stand for my uncle on the lease we are on, the guy who had the property next to the lease put his stand directly across from the pipeline my uncle was hunting.
When my father and I were sitting in our stand a guy with his stand not to far from us came in 2 hours late.

@zkurtz21 Is there alot of deer in 5C....or they just trying to kill all the deer? I noticed the amount of doe tags available and the season starts earlier and ends later.
@JaseHunter Yeah alot of deer but the people population in the southeast makes it difficult, alot of areas are private and the deer take refuge there. I like being able to hunt those extra weeks but its putting alot of hurt on the herd. I think the 100,000+ doe tags is a money racket
@JaseHunter Buy a blow horn of your own and instead of blowing it at his house at 4pm, go by his house and give it to him at 4am. That might put a stop to it

Hey Jase, thanks for the reply. I've never hunted in NEPA, but deal with my fair share of jagoffs in 4D&2E too. One of my fav spots has a guy that chases the deer around on ATV trying to keep them out of the patch of woods open to hunt. The thing is half the time he chases them toward me. If its cold and nothing is moving I welcome the sound of his 4-wheeler. Horrible PA rifle season. I'd trade Sunday hunting with an in-line for my 30-06 any day. Keep shooting videos cause I enjoy them.

@bpmcdona The answer is.....there is no answer. It's pretty much the only private place I have to hunt, but as you can see, it's not all that private. It's hard to find places around here to hunt so I'm stuck with it. That's why I still do it. I wish I could have shown a monster buck at the end, but, it's hard shooting monsters when hunters here shoot everything that moves. Deer don't grow old and a monster here would be a 110 inches

We used to hang glowsticks in the trees around us when hunting public land so people could identify where we were in the dark. One year a group of idiots came crashing through the woods - then turned and headed straight for us. Here they were curious why there were a bunch of glow sticks hanging in the trees and wanted to check it out. Hmm - why would there be a bunch of glowsticks hanging in the middle of the Allegheny National Forest...near a public road...on the first day of deer season...
I was up in Bradford county on the 1st day of rifle season & just as day breaks this moron is walking around and stop to stare at me. Then walks onto the path where the deer supposedly travels on. I feel your pain.
I hunt 34,000 acres of land in dauphin county, I don't have this problem where i hunt cause of how large the mountains/woods is. However nobody that does hunt here is seeing any good deer to shoot. The pa game commission really screwed deer hunting up for us here in central pa. And it really pisses me off cause im 23 yrs old and i still never shot a buck and i would really like too.
@guitaristwagner Dont worry. Your not the only one in pennslyvania having problems with seeing deer. Im in Northeast and there really isnt that many. Theres too many idiots that shoot their two does and one buck every year and then wonder why theres no deer after a while. I only shoot bucks now and many of the people in my area are doing the same. Right now, there are actually more bucks than does in the area behind my house...not a good sign for the future deer herd.

Great video...I have been screeming about this for years myself. I am from Western PA...ERIE but now reside in Kansas. I can tell you this. In all the states that I have hunted, it never fails, there is always one hunter that loves to walk right up to you....unbelievable.
I usually only muzzleload on some public land around me due to the number of hunters and I forgot that opening muzz weekend overlapped with gun deer season...finally gave up after seeing 3 other guys walking around my stand (and having two wave at me when they finally saw me).
Saw another 4 more on the way out....I was the only truck in the area when I went in :(
Glad to say no ones ever used an airhorn on me though HAHAHAHA.

That would not go over to well here in Maine, those guys would probably have to leave the neighborhood. That is also illeagle in Maine , it is considered hunter harassment and is against the law.Tehy would end up paying a fine and face possible jail time for multiple offenses. i have a problem like that too.. after 2 years of it every weekend i decided to bring the local warden out with me and i told him if i was lieing to him he could ticked me for ubstruction and wasting his time.. so he came out (during gun season) and the neighbor like always came over on his 4 wheeler blaring music through a radio ,yelling, with an air horn.. the warden gave him a ticket for trespassing and hunter harrasment. you should give it a try. i have never seen him sence.. good luck bud!

True story, this summer hunting red tag farms here in PA ( crop damage hunts) I had a guy who was the neighbor of the farm I was hunting, come out up on seeing my orange next to the tree row bordering his property. comes out on a 4 wheeler ripping and tearing around the opposite side of the tree row trying to scare the deer away. So eventually he stops, comes through the tree row starts screaming at me. I have a .270 on my shoulder mind you, he tears off I turn and there stand 2 doe.
The air horns are another thing- get out of your tree and jam it up that guys ass and hit the trigger on it. I guarantee he won't come through there with an air horn again.
Why am I note surprised? Road hunters? People that drive quads into the woods? Yes, that's Pennsylvania for you.
I ALWAYS hunt the same spot opening day - and before me, my father hunted it. So, it's either been me or my dad there for the past 60 years, and I always get there at 6 AM before daylight. 3 seasons ago some clown comes into the woods at 8 AM and decides to stand 75 yards away from me. Then here comes a buck - between us. A lost shot!

I love hunting in pa. Had a guy on the first day pull up on his quad and sit 50 yards from my stand. i whistle and flashed my light and he still just waved his light and stayed put. ANNOYING. Its funny. my wife and i were discussing baby names and Jase Hunter was on the list. GOOD NAME! lol

@bpmcdona The answer is.....there is no answer. It's pretty much the only private place I have to hunt, but as you can see, it's not all that private. It's hard to find places around here to hunt so I'm stuck with it. That's why I still do it. I wish I could have shown a monster buck at the end, but, it's hard shooting monsters when hunters here shoot everything that moves. Deer don't grow old and a monster here would be a 110 inches

We used to hang glowsticks in the trees around us when hunting public land so people could identify where we were in the dark. One year a group of idiots came crashing through the woods - then turned and headed straight for us. Here they were curious why there were a bunch of glow sticks hanging in the trees and wanted to check it out. Hmm - why would there be a bunch of glowsticks hanging in the middle of the Allegheny National Forest...near a public road...on the first day of deer season...

I hunt 34,000 acres of land in dauphin county, I don't have this problem where i hunt cause of how large the mountains/woods is. However nobody that does hunt here is seeing any good deer to shoot. The pa game commission really screwed deer hunting up for us here in central pa. And it really pisses me off cause im 23 yrs old and i still never shot a buck and i would really like too.

@guitaristwagner Dont worry. Your not the only one in pennslyvania having problems with seeing deer. Im in Northeast and there really isnt that many. Theres too many idiots that shoot their two does and one buck every year and then wonder why theres no deer after a while. I only shoot bucks now and many of the people in my area are doing the same. Right now, there are actually more bucks than does in the area behind my house...not a good sign for the future deer herd.

I usually only muzzleload on some public land around me due to the number of hunters and I forgot that opening muzz weekend overlapped with gun deer season...finally gave up after seeing 3 other guys walking around my stand (and having two wave at me when they finally saw me).
Saw another 4 more on the way out....I was the only truck in the area when I went in :(

That would not go over to well here in Maine, those guys would probably have to leave the neighborhood. That is also illeagle in Maine , it is considered hunter harassment and is against the law.Tehy would end up paying a fine and face possible jail time for multiple offenses. i have a problem like that too.. after 2 years of it every weekend i decided to bring the local warden out with me and i told him if i was lieing to him he could ticked me for ubstruction and wasting his time.. so he came out (during gun season) and the neighbor like always came over on his 4 wheeler blaring music through a radio ,yelling, with an air horn.. the warden gave him a ticket for trespassing and hunter harrasment. you should give it a try. i have never seen him sence.. good luck bud!

True story, this summer hunting red tag farms here in PA ( crop damage hunts) I had a guy who was the neighbor of the farm I was hunting, come out up on seeing my orange next to the tree row bordering his property. comes out on a 4 wheeler ripping and tearing around the opposite side of the tree row trying to scare the deer away. So eventually he stops, comes through the tree row starts screaming at me. I have a .270 on my shoulder mind you, he tears off I turn and there stand 2 doe.

I ALWAYS hunt the same spot opening day - and before me, my father hunted it. So, it's either been me or my dad there for the past 60 years, and I always get there at 6 AM before daylight. 3 seasons ago some clown comes into the woods at 8 AM and decides to stand 75 yards away from me. Then here comes a buck - between us. A lost shot!

Let's see if I get this right.... You're hunting with permission on private property? If so, who are these asswipes coming in on 4-wheelers and blowing air horns? Are they allowed on this same private property to do this? One might ask what you did to piss off these people. If nothing, what reason do they feel they have the right to do this? Confront them, weapon in hand. Maybe they would change their mind. As someone else pointed out, this action is illegal. Report them, or stop them yourself.
