Yes... one of the many things that John does do fantastically is covers... Not only with his voice, but the way the composition / arrangement comes out... He truly does have a great interpretation of songs... See him live, and that's where the magic is mate...

I heard a cover of this song done by Annie Lennox a few years ago and was horrified, not only because she did such an awful job of it but also because this song has such a special meaning for me. Thank God the one guy who could do it properly chose to do it. This is awesome.

I am a great fan of Farnham and I only found two covers done by him that I do not like. Those are the Stones cover The last time and We will rock you by Queen. They are not bad, but I think John could do better then that. But still he is one of the best, if not the best male vocalist in the world. I love what he did with Help by The Beatles

For the record.. The only reason why John didn't make it in America is because he chose to stay in Australia, and not move to America with his family.. After 'Whispering Jack' John was offered to move to America and be marketed over there, but he said he wasn't willing to put him and his family through that sort of stress... It is a pity, because then John would've been on a world scale, as he deserves to be... The main thing is, that we think of him as world class...
