@LifeFitness420 Baking Soda is a VERY abrasive material. Salt is also very abrasive, even when it's dissolved. Do you know what weathering is? It's how all these beautiful stone landmarks are created, by salty water rubbing against stone and sanding it down. Lemon is an acid, also very bad. These should all come up as red flags to people yet I see people following it all the time and it makes me smh.

And this is madness brush your teeth with lemon juice and salt!! yes this will erode the enamel.. over time.. and tec this is not whitening your teeth... if it does remove stains! this is just restoring them to there natural colour! not enhancing the whiteness... so my advice have a scale and polish at the dentist to remove tartar,plaque,stains.. and if you want white teeth discuss dental whitening with your dentist! ....

@lozza8799 I agree. Ive had dentists say to avoid lemon juice. why on earth would I turn around and use it to whiten teeth. I had a scaling done and make sure I brush and floss properly. avoid a lot of staining foods like coffee and if I do drink coffee I do a quick brush and rinse after.avoid brushing to hard. use a staino eraser for sneaky stains since I am not comfortable with those metal pick tools. in 1 month my teeth are now whiter than they have ever been and my gums are looking great.

@ilanny345 NEVER whiten your teeth when you have braces, it can actually harm the glue that stick the braces to your teeth, and you will get yellow spots where your braces used to be, when you get them off. So be patient and wait till you get your braces off :) I got them off some days ago myself, and I've been whitening my teeth now, It's worth waiting for! :)

At first the lemon and salt thing works, but then it wears down your teeth and leaves them yellow, very sensidive, prone to cavities, and not worth it, althought the hydrogen peroxide trick is completly good, and works very well, hope i could help! this is Ikowithrang3 :)

Mix all three mixtures until there is a pasty substance, note that it doesn't have to be explicitly solid. Use this mixture equal to the amount of regular toothpaste you would use on your toothbrush. Use ONCE A WEEK, every day use would equal to lemon juice which you want to avoid. Small portions of peroxide and baking soda once a week is advisable
