@DarthSears They are part of the Horde. Its just that they arent playable characters. Apparently Blizzard dont want them for playable characters because it would be way too hard to make gear for them.

@DarthSears *shrug* I guess. But really Tauren are already so big that lots of them make people lag so ogre would be even worse. Beside, they have no male/female (or if they do, we cant tell the difference). So really, its the same reason why Stone Giants or Dryads arent playable characters for the Alliance. Sure, they are there but actually playing them would create a few problems.

Still, you can hope for the next expansion.

@giantWario Ogres havent been a part of the horde since the 2nd war. They were mercenaries in the 3rd war and at best would be a "neutral" faction now in comparison to how things have gone

@KeeperOfDGroove Yes they have, you apparently havent played Warcraft 3 expansion bonus orc campaign. An entire tribe of ogres have joined the Horde with Rexxar leadin them. Thats them in this cutscene. Theres also lots of them in dustwallow marsh and quite a few in outlands. Lore wise, if we use the RPG books, theres about as much ogres in the Horde as there are Darkspear trolls.

They still wont be playable characters anytime soon though.
