very good question, but it is possible to skip the deku tree with the infinite sword glitch, and in turn you will banish the kid stopping you from leaving to a life of falling in a pit, besides look up how to go through the DoT, its hard but can be done, i recommend getting the goron bracelet before you skip the door tho, adult link wont be able to lift bomb flowers without it...

@lovebug164 I saw it on a youtube video and tried it on the n64 and gcube and emu and also in the ssbb demo under masterpieces it is easy. Step 1: Get a deku nut.(Set to any c button). Step 2: Wait for navi to say listen(do not press up c button yet). Step 3: Go half way through the tunnel where you get the kokiri sword( STOP). Step 4: Crawl back out of the tunnel backwards while pressing the up c button to talk to navi(press repeatedly). Step 5 :Now that she is talking to you use deck nut. --->

@lovebug164 You can walk now. Remove navi's words with up c once not a.(but camera is still messed up). Step 6: press L (map button)( turning your remote at an angle helps). Now use your map to navigate Link to the Exit. Lot easier done than said. Sorry for long explanation after saying it is easy but it really is. I am just trying to be thurough. If you still do not get try to find the video.

If you look at the buttons for the sword and action button it is the same colors as the controller for gamecube. And if you play it with the Action Replay, you don't need the first spirtual stone to get to Hyrule Field. All you do is select "Press Z to run fast" and you can hold it and run past the guy guarding you from "dying if you go past him" and you are in Hyrule. This person I think may have also selected "Press Y to Jump" where each time you press it you raise farther off the ground.
