The second has a lot of changes but the message prevails and I think the additions added a new perspective to the story.

Think, Disney invested heavily in the movies and it is understandable that add or change things to attract the public. Despite that I think they do justice to the story of Lewis. What matters is the essence, the message.

They decided to make them in the original publishing order instead of chronological order. They also wanted to use the same actors so that also influenced their decision. I love all the books. The Prince Caspian movie is better than the book in my opinion. They improved Caspian by making him older in the movie. Now I can't wait for Voyage of the Dawn Treader, which I'm reading to my 7 yr. old son.
