  • Too good of a deal. Probabaly stolen =(

  • @AngelsSong100 Nope had the serial number checked.

  • @riverking4u

Yep you always fill from the bottom to prevent air bubbles.

  • @jay. Lol yeah I get ut now .. Poly must be getting to me ha ha

  • ha ha he called you chubby jay lol.. you deff got follwers ... great videos!

  • @live4545 I think he meant a chubby in another way...

  • dam you got a chubby tell the truth !!! really like your video's

  • @deesterdee123 LOL!!!

  • its for surface piercing props like cleavers.. which work best when they get 1/2 air 1/ 2 water. Either way, you can mount it higher so the prop gets some air, but your water inlet stays submerged.

  • nosecone with low waterpickup if the sides are welded tight or closed.

  • Sure does. I look forward to seeing more out of it. LOL. You know Higher Grade Equipment, Higher standards. LOL

  • HA! Cool Graphics! I like your MAC!

  • @jm091308 I like it too. I am trying to figure out all it will do. It sure makes clearer videos.

  • Strip the paint from the lower. Leave it natural.

  • the nose cone will help with handling, its like adding a spoiler to a car

  • Nice Score ! Is it the same gear ratio as your other one installed on the boat ?

  • @goldens984 It should be. It has been raining on stop since I bought it, and I have not had a chance to go look at my Sea ray to see. This one s a 1.50 to 1 ratio, and I think that is what my boat is.

  • Don't be afraid of the nose cone, heck it may help on speed. You could probably turn around and sell this thing for some serious money especially seeing it has this racing style nose cone on it.

Does the lower unit have a low water pickup just under the pointed cone? or is the water pickup on the sides?

  • @welderman27 there are water pickup on the sides.

  • The Nose cone will be fine and what a great find you have there

  • You'll like the nose cone! I'd put it on the boat!

  • Great find I swear your channel is like watching a t.v series ,can't wait for your next video

  • @trickalloy agree

  • 500 thats good..... i dont no much about these out drives... but i can imagine they have gears bearings and seals inside them ..........correct me if im wrong but i rebiuld gear boxes and differentials up at work... and the main cause of them to leak is that the breathers are blocked creating pressure . do these out drive have breathers? ...like i say correct me if im wrong

  • @deanoobaby No they are sealed. You want them to hold pressure .

  • What a deal! Thats a great idea for pressure checking. Can't wait till the next video:)
