I wouldn't say they were the first as that's debatable, but they have some interesting machines. I find Homag and IMA to be far more advanced and far more user friendly.

Well, they'd better be good- Shoda originated the NC router in 1968.

Very impressive machine. I work with a "regular" SHODA 5-Axis router at my work. Very beefy tough pieces of equipment.
