  • Look for the fish eyes !!! Welds should be flatter, which indicates penetration.

  • @Ncrdisabled ya I am going to put in some .030 Hobart flux core carbon steel in it. And I later found out I tripped the breaker. I was looking in the wrong breaker box. I'm moving so im going to get a dedicated 120volt outlet for this because the outlet I am using has a fridge also plugged in

  • I hate to disagre but I have been welding for 20 years learned in the NAVY . I have the same welder and the wire does suck I tried the wire that come with same exact setting and metal horbort wire did a much better job. I have heard a few folks got a good wire with the welder but most did not. I also learned electric and your socket was not wired correct as if you plug in a 120 welder and it overheats it means it pulls to much amp and trips breaker . I have seen wiring problems causing this

  • Thanks for the reference on the video, your welds are pretty good its just the spatter that ruins everything but that's what AC does, I have some tips to keep spatter off your work piece and will make a video of that. If you are going to upgrade the breaker box see if its in your budget to install 240 with a 30 amp breaker and you could upgrade to a better welder I would upgrade but I don't have 220 which sucks.

  • Sorry for the shortage at the end my iPhone wouldn't post this video properley
