  • tryna figure out what i would want in a maser

  • @gokuthaman777 On every post of someone blowin an engine there always has to be some whinny bitch that has a fit over blowing the engine. This is the most importent thing you need to know. IT'S NOT YOUR FUCKING ENGINE. There are shit loads of big block chevy blocks out there so if you want one go to a junk yard and buy one. I just can't understand why you idiot's freak out about this shit. It's a good time to see how long they will hold out. WTF

  • That was F***ing stupid! No rod thru the block, nothing breaking, nothing exciting, just a BORING stall...... *YAWN*!

  • I looked for a 454 for 6 years and couldnt find one, you blow one up for fun. what a waste, you asshole.

  • @jay600katana

Your not looking hard enough for your 454

  • @NeonKnight2186, In Ontario canada, that isnt blown up or already built, it is very hard to find a good block for a fair price.

  • That was the stupidest shit i have ever seen.

  • When I blow engines up (never anything of value other than scrap) I don't worry about all the coolant hoses being hooked up or a new oil filter like yours has....just sayin

  • I could have used that engine

  • Look at that engine! It's beautiful! I swear dude, I'm gonna find you and punch you in the face!

  • appeared more like sieze up instead of blow up time for that rat. I'd want to die too if someone put zoomies on me

  • one of the cylinders is burning oil really bad cyl 6

  • Why not blow up a motor that there is a lot of, the 454 are a dying breed. what a waste.

  • piece of shit can be a good boat anchor though

  • If youre done with blowing up big blocks, why dont you blow up a chevy 302?? That would be a little more wasteful, therefore, more fun!!

  • Damn man, blowing up 305s is cool but why in the fuck blow up a damn useable 454?? that seems wasteful to me. Shit i gotta virgin L88 block. Wanna hit it with some sledgehammers for shits and giggles??

  • also next time you do this. take a vid of you tearing it apart. just to see what damage is done inside lol, that be cool.

  • I hate to be the downer here, but i dislike the use of chevy engines to blow up. they are actually worth something, both money wise and, depending on the engine, their weight in gold for dudes like me doing restorations. I hate seeing american v8s being sacraficed and would enjoy it way more if it was done to rice burner engines hahahahaha

  • they should of done this with cash for clunkers at least it would of been fun while it last HAHA

  • how much do you think it would cost to rebuild a 1978 454 truck engine to get at least 400 hp? 1978 454's only got 260 hp, that just doesnt cut it for a big block.

  • why blow a built engine thats really expensive, hard to find, and running??!! whats wrong with you

  • Can you please give me the specs on your engine stand. I have a 454 and I want to build a stand like yours.

  • @Chevypower265

It was all welded up out of scrap metal.

We just made mounts to fit.

  • @melon5me Alright, thanks.

  • @Chevypower265 hey if you find a blue print or sumthing let me know i gota 355 sbc that needs a break in stand

  • Only dumbasses take time to blow up a reusable engine, i dont care what make, its a waste

  • this thing look difficult to run, does it run not on all cylinder? there is not exaust smoke on the 1 3 4 cylinder from left (for the man in the vid)

  • This Saturday Night in Oregon at a Private Party this time.

  • wheres this engine blow up contest held at??, i would love to go

  • You should have bought it.

    Oh wait, you still can.

It only siezed up a bunch of used junk parts. Bring it!

  • You're an ignorant fuck for even considering blowing up a 454 over a shitass 305.

  • @R10Coronado

my 302 is not alumium its cast and what do u mean they are no good the 302 is a great motor

  • butt

  • Jeez just for rebuild factor dumb ass...I dont want to put anymore more into an engine because of your stupidity...

  • i think your looking 4 e bay

  • time wastin yank

  • most of hondas or toyotas or what have u are japanese COMPANIES many vehicles are made in north america. at the same kinda shop as gm or ford. same qualifications to work there. and mostly american parts... so if the toyota is that shitty maybe they should start makin them in japan again, where they did a good job. cuz if im thinkin correctly. early gen nissan, toyotas and even honda, had some well built cars.

  • Why not put that engine in a car that's worth a damn, give it to the parents of the kids they cannot provide for, so maybe they can get to work and provide? I dabble with motors along side people much more skilled than I. Out respect for the original craftsmanship, and motors in general, I would tell someone to "you know what," if they ever presented an idea such as this. Shame on you if you're an engine builder.

  • yes i was wrong in my comments there was a 302 chevy but only from 67-69 or somthing like that and only in a comaro i belive, and i think 307 are rare and the 302 cuz i have never seen a 302 chevy and only 1 307

  • @bradleywilliamfuller 307's are not very rare, alot of chevy's from the 60-70's came with the 307, the 302 is one of the rarest engines to find in good condition, unless its in an all original taken care of 67-69 Z28 or a fully restored one, but your talking big bucks there

  • why did you blow it, it looked perfectly fine!

  • Chrome & fresh paint doesn't make it a good engine.

  • Comment removed

  • @Audiolaboratory What kind of dumbass Makes stupid comments on videos? YOU!

  • @herbienbrian I'm sure these guy's don't use old high nickle 4 bolt main's.There are a shit load of disposable blocks out there. If your building a real engine it's better to use a after market block anyway.

  • i have yet a day to see a toyota or honda beat a american car in anything. sure they made some crap like mid 90's but now they inproved so much. ppl are just into the fact that anything not from the states is good. but they are all brainwashed and wrong. and to the toyota comment is that why toyota has 4.8 million recalled cars dumbass and 20 died from

  • all these cars are same. Same principals to build the engines just different ways they've been tuned. You can make anything good.

  • And you guys are like "yee american car brand!" But the truth is they made cars in Malysia, Thailand and so on, you really think all "american cars" are made in USA? Hell no!

  • damn wish i had that engine in my little isuzu pu'p with the headers sticking out the hood :D

  • If you had 2 hondas "die" before reaching 100,XXX miles than you need to do some PREVENTATIVE maintenance i.e. timing belt replacement, fluid/oil changes. The only cars that die that early WITH preventative maintenance are Chryslers. Also GM is not bankrupt because of the socialist US government, so don't worry as long as there are workers like me to tax and paper for printing money GM will not go bankrupt.

  • Comment removed

  • GM needed over 700 billion dollars to get out of bankruptcy, and guess what? They will soon need even more money! Buy a Ford, its the only good American car company left.

  • fords not american its mexican

  • @mikhailSRT4 Its more canadian!

  • Sorry, dude, Japanese and Germany engineering are MUCH MUCH better than american. So tell me why Toyota is worlds 1. sold and best rated car? Shithead,

  • @Hemuliboss agree this is the truth.. ger. & jap. are the best so far...

  • @Hemuliboss Agreed. I would buy a car from Japan or Germany before anywhere else. and to those who are thrashing toyota about there recall. I seem to remember that Ford had a recall on a few vehicles as well. the Explorer was known for the cruise controll to catch on fire and the Bronco could, when you start the engine, the trans would come apart, drop into reverse and take off.

  • hey what can I say, Honda makes good cars and chevy's are... MEH well GM is going bankrupt for a reason LOL

  • get a chevy

  • hondas okay to drive to your boring deck job, but to get a little excitement in your life get a chevy

  • I agree, im drivin an accord to go to job, i just keep dreaming about drivin a 80-90 camaro with a 305 or even a 350 in it.

  • @chevycamaro1976 Chevy's are based on old push rod technology, Anything of recent make with the twin overhead cam quad valve per cylinder, when modified would outperform a Chevrolet big block, that is referring horsepower per cc's. Mitsubishi brought out Evolution VII FQ-400, producing 402bhp out of it's 2 litre engine (201bhp/litre).

  • @chevycamaro1976

Yeah, that way you can experience the thrill of a truly unreliable vehicle that will leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere.

  • @chevycamaro1976 ya because then you get to fix it everyday!

  • @chevycamaro1976 ashes to ashes...dust to dust...if it werent for chevys, our tools would rust

  • @aaronzack14 That's a good one

  • to bad ford doesnt make the 454

  • Honda sucks i've had nothing but problems with them transmissions injection manifolds computers alternators everything so i say screw honda

  • @c312eal

Yea they're the SHIT. The SHIT that's CLOGGING the ROADWAYS IN FRONT OF MY CHEVY.

  • Hell yeah 300 - 6 was a monster. Had one in an old 150, you couldn't kill that motor if you wanted too. Drove it so long, we actually had damn near worn the lobes off the cam. I miss that ol' beater....

  • @the5445: you say ford had no known GOOD engines.... umm ever heard of the 300 6, probably one of the BEST engines ever made, ok admitted it wasnt built for speed but it had torque out the ass plus its low compression ratio meant that you could not kill the engines

  • just outta curiosity... if chevy DID make a 302, 304, 307, and 308... whats the difference? does a couple of cubic inches make that much more power? or were the engines designed for different uses... like long stroke/big bore for truck engines etc.

  • @Toiger654 well yeah, they allow more air and fuel to make a bigger compression(bigger boooom). Boom make you go :).

  • 305 and 307 are rare?? Well damn there is a lot of rare smog-laiden camaros and El caminos out there from the mid to late 70's that must be woth a lot of cash.

  • A 305 isn't rare, the 307 is not seen very often, they was only built from '68-'73 also they was all 2bbl engines too. The early ones put out about 200hp.

  • They may be true, i dont know im not intelegent with American auto performace tech, but i can see that some people are uninformed. ya see? you see things people dont, but you cant SAY your right. ya know? they have to learn, and if they dont, just say well sorry dude... hope you do learn. you see?

  • B.S Title!!! You blew up NOTHING. Waste my time!

  • Did you read the title? It says, "TEST RUN". Check out the other videos for blow ups.

  • @twostrokeornill1 : Bro dont be difient, read the discription. :). understanding= no arguing :).

  • you should have build a go cart or somthing with that engine in it.

  • @the5445: HAHAHA that would be nuts!!! all that torque to something soooo light :). Makes sence man. good thinking. :) but these people like muscle cars for more reasons than just fast. ya know?

  • @lilskatedane12 lol, you can re-inforce a lawn tractor frame. it's been done before with these engines :D

  • also chev made a 304 and a 308

  • sorry to say man chevy did make a 302 look up your shit maybe your learn something

  • Comment removed

  • 1967 1968 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 is a 302 cubic inch engine.

  • theres was too a 302 chevy you buttmuncher!!!

    and 307's are not rare!!!

  • Chev 302 is 327 with 283 crank used in Z28's for Trans-Am racing with CID restrictions. Engines had to be an actual production engine so Chev put them out in Z28's so it could be said it was a production engine and it was a high revving ass hauler

  • Thats good info there and the 307 is partly a 327, because the 307 has the exact same crank as the 327 with the 283 bore, very tough engines and with a little work, put out very good power!

  • hahahah better do some research before you say such things

  • @bradleywilliamfuller hey god damn moron chevy did make a 302 from 64 to 70

  • @bradleywilliamfuller

melon5me is right and alittle more info for ya 67 and 68 had 2 bolt mains and the 69 had 4 bolt mains before u run your mouth about chevy never making a 302 do ur homework u moron

  • @bradleywilliamfuller my 72 imp aztec boat had a 302 chevy not a ford i didn't know chevy made that motor until i bought the boat maybe you should look into the history of chevy before you go running your mouth off about shit you don't know ? just a thought

  • @bradleywilliamfuller

Who is the goddamn moron! GM DID make a 302 for the Camaro for the SCCA racing cars. It was a 327 motor with a 289 crank, this was a factory production motor. Get your facts rights before running your mouth!!!

  • @SMiller5488 Would you mind telling me how they managed to put a Ford Crankshaft in a Chevy Block? Inquiring minds want to know :)

  • @SMiller5488 A 289 crank, huh. You'd better get YOUR facts straight stupid! It's a 283 crank, dumbass!

  • Where is the blow? Did you at least drain the oil?!

  • can i have it now? i'll rebuild it and use it! PLEASE!! lol

  • Sure, both for $350.00

  • there is a 302 chevy u idiots

  • Why don't you blow the 305 up not the 454 idiot.

  • Maybe you should have bought it. Then the Weezer 2 bolt 175 hp boat anchor would be at your trailer.

  • yeah the biggest pile of crap that was ever put in a vehicle

  • wtf? ford is shit. the 454 is the most most known chevy engine.

  • even if you think ford is shit and you have strong opinions on that, how can you say your right? i dont think you have considered why people like ford. ya know? i think they like ford because they are "big and bad" which is there opionion. it could be dumb. but you dont have the entitlement to say they are. ya know brohamdizzleskys?

  • @lilskatedane12 because ford has no good known engines, they are hard to work on, and they look like shit. a hemi could show up any ford engine.

  • have you got 2 for sale,i need one for each rear wheel, glad it is a 2 bolt main, less weight on the crank.please send info on how bye bye this.

  • Hey Retard, What's a Retart?

  • Here's a good idea!! Go and stick you penis in between the belt and water pump you retart...ha--ha--ha!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • why dont you guys go blow up some 4 cylinder shit

  • bullsh**

  • Today is the day. Watch in the next few days for the Blowup Video.

  • 10 day left before it goes BOOM!!!

  • If you haven't sailed a rod out of it, or sold it I might be interested. Give me a call. Oh yeah, I should say thanks for the tilt column for the boat,

    Jim

  • find a 283 with a solid cam and good springs and wing it to the moon

  • We try to do this with minimal investment. But that does sound fun. My buddy had this engine & another 454 both in pieces for sale at a swap meet 2 weeks ago. Nobody even made a stupid offer. This one got put back together (with all used parts) to be sold or blown up. Thanks for watching.

  • Or better, a Chevy 302, not a Ford... those things wind better than 283s.... :)

  • ford made the 302 not chevy

  • in 69 chevy made a 302 and it was in the camaro. look it up

  • Your a fucking tool put your nuts on the work bench and bash repeatedly with a hammer so the world is rid of the possibility of you reproducing

  • Yea that is awesome, there are 454's all over the place they are as cheap and easy to find as a 305 or 350 and so on. I will get a camera for the 267. Now a 267 if anyone complains they have serious issues lol. Good luck your vids kick ass!

  • Thanks for looking, post yours when you blow it.

  • wanna sell that 267?
