The bass clarinet is such an excelent instrument that one has to wonder why it is seen so litte. The old excuse was that of power, but with modern mikes and amps thats no problem and anyway, it works best in the more mellow song. It's never going to be a screamer, but the sound it can blow makes up for that.

bobby sparks is simply the BEST. marcus did a good job transferring him to his band... Rh Factor videos with Roy Hargrove is strongly recommended as well , for those who want to see more of Bobby's magical moog lines!

Some times we under-estimate somes talent. In this case, we can witness the remarkable talent of Mr. Miller. I hope he can continue to expand on his remarkable gift of music.

This first part is one of the best performances I've seen out of this group - and Marcus doesn't use his bass! the trade between Marcus and Gregiore Maret is awesome, and Maret has his best solo (from what I've seen)! Marcus: COME TO THE PHILLY AREA!
