i once did that no my fully on a log. wheel was fine, just cracked the frame. so, your wheels probably wont die first (mine were zac19)

If you really want to test the durability ride it on the rim for 1 min on the road with no tire. Then I'd like to see it unscathed. Ride it with no impacts, straight smooth road, I bet it'll get chewed up in a heartbeat.

i did that with a shitty single wall mtb rim. I skidded it and showered sparks all over the street, rolled up some stairs and hucked a four stair like 10 times and broke/ bent most of the spokes and cracked the rim at the seam....

Very nice rim a bit pricy, the 6 spoke rims on ebay I heard are very decent. Fast and tough also comes in diffrent colours check them out 26" mag wheels.

The tire used in this extreme field test was a paper thin XC tire in order to maximize the impact to the FRX5 wheel rim. You can view the entire video on the tagwheels website. The tube used had a schreder valve which sits lower. You can use a presta valve to increase the height of the valve

what the difference between tag and mag wheels

TAG is a name that stands for the company Technically Advanced Geometry (TAG)Wheels.

MAG's are the name of a type of wheel that does not have traditional metal rims and metal spokes. They dont rely on tension like regular spoked wheels and they look different. Originally MAG stood for Magnesium wheels. Now their cool looking tough, low maintenance bike wheels
