So start at 8.5 or 9.0 pH, and move up from there to 9.5. No reason to drink higher than 9.5. It won't "mess you up", but it might taste a little funny. BTW, focus on the strong anti-oxidant capability of this water, not the pH, which is secondary.

Let me EXPLAIN the PHYSICS behind this video: if you pull 90 degrees down, then all the force is heading downwards meaning you won't move anywhere, only downwards if enough force is applied.
If you pull, for example, 80 downwards then there is a small force exerting horizontally and with the two foot together as he asked, there is little horizontal resistance meaning it is very easy to end up off balance even if there is a very little force applied.

Msmissypoo, to be correct, pH is about the relative concentrations of H+ ions and OH- ions in a solution. Alkaline water has a higher concentration of OH- ions and acid water has more H+ ions (hydrogen atoms missing an electron). These H+ ions, or "free radicals", cause oxidative damage to cells.

Msmissypooo and 9Sankofa9, you both are terribly misinformed. It's certainly not all about pH. If that were the case, one could simply drink plain water with baking soda for higher pH. It's the ANTI-OXIDANT poperties of Kangen Water that make the difference. This is only accomplished by Enagic machines, not the "competitior's" machines, which only make alkaline water, and do so at the expense of adding body-damaging inorganic minerals to their water.

Our water source is very much contaminated and the water companies put a chemical mix including high concentrates of flouride in our tap water to make sure the bacteria is gone but this water can't be cleaned, we need this Kangen Water Alkaline Water Black People, and I really don't trust the water companies! thats just me!
