  • hey..im really enjoying your tutorials...but one suggestion....when u use samples, maybe try using something other than black...and especially think about contrasting thread. its so difficult seeing the technique you are trying to teach....also...loving your patternmaking vids! thanks!

  • @TXnineandout Hey there! Thanks for watching! The fabric color when making samples is something that I definitely had to rethink for future videos where I now use black thread and muslin so it's easier to see. Thanks for commenting!

  • Man, you can find ANYTHING on youtube! My wife and I have this very same machine. After watching a few videos on the blind stitch I came across yours. Thanks SO much. Excellent!

  • @robbarreda you're welcome!

  • It would be much easier for you if you had the bulk of the work to the left of the machine, rather than the right. This way you will not be bunching the fabric up so much

  • @countkostaki Hi there! The stitch on the machine requires the fabric to be turned that way in order to sew it correctly "by machine". Of course it can definitely be hand sewn instead depending on the person completing the garment.

  • @giuliochris Hey there, I think you have your stitches muddled as on this model you have selected stitch 13 as the blind hem, where this is in fact the shell tuck stitch. If you choose stitch 12 you will find that is the blind-hem stitch, which will enable you to have the bulk of the work on the left rather than bunched up on the right.

  • @countkostaki hi! I went and looked at the machine manual online to see what you mentioned and you're absolutely right it is a shell tuck stitch! Thanks for pointing that out! I learned something new today:) I was originally thinking #12 was specifically for stretch fabrics! Thanks! I'll be changing that on the video soon.

  • Hello I have the same machine and I am still confused on how to do this

  • @coverbobby09 Yeah, the blind stitch is kind of tricky! Keep at it, try folding your fabric in different ways, that may be what's stopping you!
