No the truck has ran perfect after the wastegated exhaust brake no trouble behind that the clutch was shit before and after the exhaust brake so hasn't wrecked anything and i have one in my automatic too
Yes they do work good,I have one on my automatic;it will stall the Engine out all the way when I was messing around with for the first time. later man
when starting from a stop do you need to press on the accelerator or does it have enough torque that all you need to do is let off the clutch , like you can start with a Semi just by letting off the clutch
What we did for my dads powerstroke and mine is the waste gate you put a switch in it so no its not like a Jake with letting off the throttle its all manual flick the switch and its on and stays closed what you are doing is creating a compressor love the sound and in the 5 spd my dads it slows it down good but in my auto it doesn't do as much.
@Freightshaker8v92 oh, but I meant from like a stop light, with a Semi you only need to let off the brake and the clutch and it wants to go, unlike a car when you need to push the gas petal to get it going
Ohh yeah it has enough torque that it will go unless you are hauling a big load or on a steep grad and you can't dump the clutch you got to let it out fairly slow
Did you have to change the valve springs due to the added back pressure or does it not affect the exhaust valve closing too much?
