i have the 10 inch version of this and it goes as loud as my mtx t7512-04 (both ported). the mtx apparently does 132 DB at 400 watts.

i have 2 of these with a 2000 watt Audiobahn amp... its pretty intense..

this sub has 400w rms but booms like it has alot more than that and you are rigt jbl knows how to make subwoofers.1600w peak

i was underpowering the woofer and i haven t chosen a more proper song to see better what is capable to. i will post another video to see how it handles a greater power.
