I am a physiotherapy student and writing an assignment about Upper Crossed and Lower Crossed Syndrome. I can not use any litterature older than 2006. Janda died in 2002. Does anyone know about an updated study about or an article abot UPCS?
My hypothesis is that you get rid of your symptomes by stretching the tonic muscles and strengthening the phasic muscle together with ergonomic adjustments ar work
@TheYaom. Thrilled that this information is resonating with you. Wishing you the best as you work to strengthen your weak/inhibited links and lengthen your tight links! Take care!
for two and a half years I have suffering from upper back pain, back of the head tight, shoulders hurt..... sometimes I feel burning under my shoulder blades and also behind my ears and side of the neck it feels tight and irritated.
Sleeping became a task, stretching feels very good but I just didn't know what to do about it.... or how to call this pain, 10 years of excessive computer use might have caused this.
Thank you to all for your comments. I am glad most of you find this helpful! Regarding the heels... I believe that life is about balance. I stretched my calves out well after standing for a while in heels:) Good observation though!
Nicely done,! Dr. Janda also would have recommended that with the "wall angel" a simple chin tuck for the deep cervical flexors are appropriate and quite helpful. A very good service to your viewers. PCC79
This is really timely as my shoulders are giving me total heck. The presenter is so insanely gorgeous it's almost distracting but very well done. Thank you!
