I think they did a good job on the CGI but something I have noticed is no matter the movie they can never get the eyes to look realistic which to be honest kills the whole thing.

Im actually getting sick of my own writing but I wanted to make one final point. At the end of the day it boils down to a matter of opinion your entitled to your opinion which I understood - but dont resort to calling people names over the net esp when you dont know anything about them. 'tools' dont have the level of qualifications and experience or get granted a level of responsibility that impacts on peoples lives in the most direct and consequential ways as I do at such a young age.
Taking StreetFighter for example there are HUNDREDS of covers that could be considered proffessional standard, some randoms are so competant that they ruin themes by showing off how skilled they are. There is not however an abundance of proffessionally skilled DJs on youtube, FL studio doesnt count as approx 0.2 % of FL users actually turn pro - I dont consider FL proffessional. Being a DJ is not just 'pushing buttons' its the mental ability it takes to combine harmonic sounds and beats.

In my opinion it takes more TIME and talent to make a melodic tune that flows in harmony (particularly in trance) than to play a guitar solo or even think up a guitar solo. Furthermore FL studio is not the same as a synthesiser. A typical demonstration of my point would be to look up all the guitar covers of songs and apparently how common it is for people to be able to match them.
The facts are that rock/indy bands use guitars/drums and so do rookie guitarists/drummers therefore people with competance for rock music is not THAT rare. Trance rookies use FL or other programmes Pro trance artists DO NOT use such software therfore it IS hard to find proffesional competance. Rock bands marginalise trance artists greatly - this could be down to cultural popularity and demand for rock vs new age and/or the abundance of rock music competance available to turn pro

No im not kidding you at all - How many people do you know who can use a Synthesiser compared to people who can play the guitar or drums ? I know at least 8 bands from my old highschool who could cover ANY metal band and act as an EXACT replica - and wrote their own stuff, there are millions of people who can teach guitar or drums at professional level
Playing drums, guitars or bass guitars or shouting down the mike IS NOT a rare skill. At the end of the day I could find you a dozen groups of people who could replicate a metalica, iron maiden or slipknot song or whatever flawlessly - how many people can you find who could replicate what Dj tiesto or Paul van Dyk can do? It can take days to form some lyrics and a guitar/drum pattern - and YEARS to perfect a trance harmony with lyrics and melody and infuse them.

The advantage that rock/metal has got is that it is easy to replicate - therefore many more acts get into rock/metal and therefore it saturates the market - and since it has been around since the 80s it has had alot of time to establish itself as a dominant musical culture. Trance is new age and has a disadvantage against already established music - which produces clearly bias people. Im glad that metal is starting to fizzle out in my opinion. and btw this isnt really trance to be honest
I'm not sure if you know, but any pro these days uses 'pc programmes' instead of doing stuff live on synthesizers.
It's a bit like voice correction (auto-tune). It has been used in almost all vocal music since about 1997, but only for about a few years people turn it on so much you can actually 'hear' the autotune doing it's work . The point is people just turn on autotune (for very small flawns and such) because it gives a perfect result. Programs do that just as well

There's nothing 'crap' about it , since most singers don't have perfect pitch and hearing a perfect pitch is more pleasant to the ear than one that is close to perfect, but not too perfect.Heck,there are singers who I wish would use it. He has pretty poor pitch, especially on live performances you can hear it well

I'm not going to say corrections aren't made here and there. I do it myself. But I NEVER just turn the thing on and leave it one. Rock and metal bands are usually purists in that sense. There's a fine line between getting it right and going too far. I personally don't like it and will do take after take till it's right.

The people was one polish person. Arnold acutally never appeared in the studio or on the movie plan excluding once to see the progress. He used scenes from different movies with Arnie in the 80's movies like Terminator, Commando etc.

Roland's body looks a lot bigger than Arnie's was. I didn't really notice it first time i saw it at the cinema, but looking at the pictures later i can really see it.
...actually the body wasn't buff enough to match arnie's during the time he made the first terminator....and I don't think these are the actual pics you see in the movie
I found the CGI Arnold was awesome..although the body was a bit too buff. In the beginning you could see the face was kinda fake, but later on, it was as if Arnold himself was there.
Marcus was part of "Project Angel", a project that would enable him to live a second life or something. And so when he was "put to sleep", when SkyNet took over his endoskeleton was revamped to almost resemble the T-800 one.
Well that just doesn't make sense. Think about it. The T600's biggest weakness was its rubber skin that was unconvincing against humans. The primary objective of a Terminator is to deceive people into thinking its a real human being, and terminating the target when the opportunity arrives. Marcus is the missing link between the T600 and the T800. The T800 was FAR superior because not only was it stronger and smarter, but it was basically had almost every characteristic to a real human's skin

The advantage that rock/metal has got is that it is easy to replicate - therefore many more acts get into rock/metal and therefore it saturates the market - and since it has been around since the 80s it has had alot of time to establish itself as a dominant musical culture. Trance is new age and has a disadvantage against already established music - which produces clearly bias people. Im glad that metal is starting to fizzle out in my opinion. and btw this isnt really trance to be honest

I'm not sure if you know, but any pro these days uses 'pc programmes' instead of doing stuff live on synthesizers.
It's a bit like voice correction (auto-tune). It has been used in almost all vocal music since about 1997, but only for about a few years people turn it on so much you can actually 'hear' the autotune doing it's work . The point is people just turn on autotune (for very small flawns and such) because it gives a perfect result. Programs do that just as well

@PowerRedBull Actually you're very wrong about the auto tune crap. Yeah, a lot of pop stars use it. But rock musicians tend to steer clear of stuff like that, especially us metal guys. If you can't pull it off don't put it down. My band never uses that shit for anything, not even minor flaws.

There's nothing 'crap' about it , since most singers don't have perfect pitch and hearing a perfect pitch is more pleasant to the ear than one that is close to perfect, but not too perfect.Heck,there are singers who I wish would use it. There is nothing more annoying to me than listening to a singer that does not always produce greaet pitch. Take radiohead for example. He has pretty poor pitch, especially on live performances you can hear it well

@PowerRedBull I'm talking about rock musicians mostly. I know all those pop punks do it. Most rock guys record their vocals line by line. If they mess it up they do another take. I'm not going to say corrections aren't made here and there. I do it myself. But I NEVER just turn the thing on and leave it one. Rock and metal bands are usually purists in that sense. There's a fine line between getting it right and going too far. I personally don't like it and will do take after take till it's right.

to everyone who thinks this is real actor: I'm a vfx artist and do this kinda stuff every day at work... this is CG, fairly good but far from perfect. I don't have the film in front of me, but If I were to do it I'd use real actor's body with CG face tracked on top...

I believe you are correct. According to IMDB the T-800(Arnold's Terminator model) was played by Roland Kickinger and obviously has Arnold's face. I hope we see more of this in the new T5 movie whenever it's released.

The people was one polish person. Arnold acutally never appeared in the studio or on the movie plan excluding once to see the progress. He used scenes from different movies with Arnie in the 80's movies like Terminator, Commando etc.

well I think the movie deserve 7/10 but what made the movie a little bad is the CGI Arnold his face looked clearly a rubber face and everyone noticed that he's not real especially when connor hits hm on the face!!! Good movie anyway! xD

I found the CGI Arnold was awesome..although the body was a bit too buff. In the beginning you could see the face was kinda fake, but later on, it was as if Arnold himself was there.

It's explained in the film, Marcus signs his body to a company looking at extending the human life.
Only his heart and his brain are his in the new prototype chasis. The company is eventually bought by Cyberdyne.

Well that just doesn't make sense. Think about it. The T600's biggest weakness was its rubber skin that was unconvincing against humans. The primary objective of a Terminator is to deceive people into thinking its a real human being, and terminating the target when the opportunity arrives. Marcus is the missing link between the T600 and the T800. The T800 was FAR superior because not only was it stronger and smarter, but it was basically had almost every characteristic to a real human's skin
