This is cool right. But i still prefer the duels from the originals. Yes, even the one from A New Hope. A lightsaber duel is more circled around the internalization between two characters and they build up to something. Like the choreography in duel of the fates, it's cool, but the duel suck because of that there is no knowledge of any of those characters and the movie didn't build up to it. Look back at the first Clone Wars cartoon where he first showed up and look at how often he used his unorthodox swordplay to keep the Jedi confused and subdued, even grabbing the Lightsabers with his feet! Here, he never does anything even close to that and instead attacks from the same direction with all four blades at once. Given what he should be capable of, this fight was awful

His death was way too rushed. Who would think it would be more badass if he got to the platform at the end and after smacking Obi-Wan to the ledge he would then escape in his ship.

Later on when Yoda and Obi-wan are at the temple he could ambush them and they could have an epic battle without all this pussy crap with hands falling off, they would eventually overpower him and his light sabers and destroy him.

The only fight scene that I would argue they moved like arthrtic snails was Obiwan vs Vader in ANH--everything else in the OT had fighting for a purpose: essentially, they moved only when they needed to, rather than the flashy over-the-top flourishes only for the point of having more movement. That made it more "realistic" (insofar as fighting with fictional sabres can..) and tense... IMO of course.

@jawnwb It can in no way be argued that the OT had more entertaining fight scenes. You could say they had more meaning behind them, but they were dull as dirt. It's not unrealistic for younger (or older and better-trained compared to Luke) force-users with more intensive training to do the things they do. There's nothing over-the-top about well-trained Jedi and Sith from that time period to be able to do the things they do. It's actually more accurate because everyone has unique styles.
