Yes. The person who wrote it was English and all the locomotives in the series were based on real life Steam Engines in England.

yes, I do agree but they don't have a turntable at the GCR so they can't turn the 09 around and it is on the front then people can't take pictures of Diesels face end. So nobody wins! thanks for the comment
