@ShaaaaxHD Yes you can play games on the ZEN X-Fi2, in fact there are many 3rd party games available for the player. You could google "ZEN X-Fi2 fames" or xeroo [dot] net for the list. The ZEN X-Fi2 supports the foolowing video formats: WMV9, MPEG4-SP, DivX 4/5 and XviD (Up to 640 x 480 video size). Please visit the Creative website for more details :)

I'm thinking of buying one. I've been reading reviews about how good it is, but the major drawback seems to be the touch screen which is not that responsive. Is this true? Is it annoying in any way? See I can't get my hands on one, and I don't want to waste money on something that's going to irritate me. Thanks :)

@gfc56 Hi, the ZEN X-Fi has a smaller non-touchscreen and SD Slot while the X-Fi2 has a larger 3" touchscreen, micoSD slot and support the FLAC audio format. What's more, you can adjust the X-Fi audio enhancemnet level on the ZEN X-Fi2 and also download apps (games and applications) for it.

Brilliant video, Im thinking of upgrading to this from my good old Zen X-Fi 8GB :D. Two questions though; firstly how is the battery life on this model? And I was also wondering if Creative are planning to release any more MP3 players after this one (not including the new Zen Touch)

i have had a X-FI 2 FOR ABOUT 3 months now and is deffinitly the best purchase of my portable music lifetime only problem with it is that the albums have messed up and i can only see the latest one album not all 300 albums and for that reason i want help or apple have won me over with the touch but over all if your only bothered about videos and music and have a low budget buy a ZEN they have a much better quality and the headphones are super compfy any tips on how to fix the album problem?

Im currently using a Apple iPod but in need of a new one ... Would i be able to transfer all my songs over to this if I got this one? Because Apple have thier own iTunes library, what do this make do? Do they have their own type of library? Or is it just best to stick to Apple?

You did a good job showcasing the player. Made it look like it was easy to use. I'm sure I'd have a tougher time of it. I'm getting sick of my Creative Zen, so I might try an ipod next, though that will probably be a sixth or seventh generation nano by the time I am really ready to pitch the Zen.

I bought one of these, but the touch screen is slow and sometimes doesn't respond. Or I have to repeatedly press things. I don't like it. It's not much of a difference from the regular Zen I had. I could go without the touchscreen if the buttons respond better. And how come there is only 1 app available for it. The folders is labeled apps,with an "s". I can't find anywhere to get more. I would wait for the Zii egg instead of getting this one. The next one looks badass!

Not really, the sound quality of the iPod Touch is terrible, Apple sacrificed quality as an MP3 player for touch screen technology, Wi-Fi and gaming. At least Creative have always been cheap, but high in audio quality.... This comment is coming from someone who has expensive tinny iPod sound, and good quality Zen sound ;)

What I am missing is a possibility to search your music not just by sorting it alphabetically. It's quite annoying when gigs of music. but so far i just know the ipods being able to do so. And even for those it would need a fw update (which i would habe to buy)

Yes. Games are good :) Provided the intergration is true intergration ( view songs that are on the micro sd in the main music menu, by ID3, not separate and not imported) i may consider buying this.. of course i would rather have the zii, which is an amazing piece of electronics

may i suggest that you perhaps add games which uses the accelerometer n touch technology to the zen x-fi 2 like those found on the ipod touch. It will definitely make the mp3 player more entertaining n fun to use.

I read a review which said that indeed you'll have to push the screen quite hard to get some response. Also the interface is quite slow and volume control is not properly programmed... If you do not have a creative yet, I would buy the normal X-Fi. It has better earbuds and is cheaper too. The only things which have improved on the X-Fi2 are the ability to actually import tracks from an sd card to the library and the X-Fi technology. So I would stay with the normal X-Fi.

The only difference between this and X-FI 1 is the sluggish touch screen (yes...still sluggish) and the less cooler interface. the only good point of this one is the integrated SD card besides X-FI 1 where songs in SD card are in a separated location.

Besides the X-Fi 1 has WAY more color screen than this (bout 16,5 million colours) as this as only has 262 thousand colours, so besides having a (lame) touch screen my heart still beats for x-Fi 1...

well first off if you use napster to-go DO NOT buy it says its compatible and its not. The touchscreen is a little difficult to use but is not bad once you get used to it. Very light weight and sleek . I owned the creative vision M and loved it this well I hate to say it is a step down......now i have to return it and find something else. :(

I tried its touch screen at COMEX. i was disappointed. It lacked the smoothness and sensitivity of the iPod Touch or Samsung P3. You actually have to press rather hard to get it sensed. Wait for the Zii.
