Umm yeah the water is moving the entire time. The "flow" that appears at about 10 seconds is the shock front traveling across the water. Also, right at 10 seconds, a piece of debris is rocketed into the water, generating a splash in front of the leftmost support pillar. Not fake -- they've been working on those bridges for years.

primacord, it's used alot in hollywood pyrotecnics especially in scale models, the carge moves so fast it rips whatever its wrapped around in peices (a few wraps around a tree will sever it in two). that stuff is awesome :)

Bridge demolition happens. Some scientist or kid with a high speed camera just happened to catch it. He or she probably even knew it WOULD happen ahead of time. It's not so far fetched.

And special effects cost more money than just recording a bridge demolition. I'd do the latter.

yeah, it's fake. If you look at the piece of the bridge that falls, it falls too perfectly. Even expert demos don't go that perfectly, and also it never bends or anything when falling.

This was a bridge in over the Tennessee river near Huntsville Alabama. It was demolished in sections to make way for a replacement. Possibly the coolest thing exploding i saw that summer.
