I think that they're used for showing the total won by contestants in cash and prizes (sometimes just cash).

Well it seems of all the "giant killers' on game shows, Erik is the most successful. He was no one-wit wonder like Nancy Zerg; he is a serious player as expressed by the number of ties there have. Mary is a tough cookie right here for Erik; she is knocking down those questions left and right just like Erik. If this keeps up we may have a record for ties nor beoken since the 1950's.

When did this last air on GSN?

Maybe GSN should have kept on going through the TTD Season 3 episodes before reverting back to the start of Season 2 (Season 3 of Tic Tac Dough had the second Over 80 Tournament that never was finished up due to an error or something like that and a Sports Personalities tournament).

Thanks for showing us what happened to Erik AFTER he defeated Thom McKee. GSN went back to Season 2 at the end of Thom's run.
