  • what version of the song is this? o:

  • Nice music.

  • just learned that the conductor in this scene is my friend's grandpa!

  • Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie, Pavarotti....the lady really does know her good music! :)

  • I also want a CD with bombastic orchestra Christmas music like this!

  • @mop3n15 Not sure if you had found the track, but I have. All you have to do is go to amazon.com search for "home alone 2 score" then you will be able to find it, the cheapest way to do it is to download it from the website its only 9.99 so its not that bad. You can convert it to itunes, its supposed to do it automatically but I had to do mine manually. Good Luck!

  • massive understatement at 0:43

  • khggh

  • jjjjjhgjh

  • best. christmas. song. ever.

  • who is the conductor/orchestra of this version played here?

of all the versions i've ever heard, this is my number one fav, and can't find who did it anywhere?

i've been searching for ten years, someone please help!

  • @emop3n15 i was told it is john williams. it is on the home alone 2 soundtrack, track 17, as a medley.

  • One of my fav scenes. ^_^

  • This is the best arrangement I have had the pleasure of listening to!

Is this version available (the full version)?

  • I just uploaded the full version of "Christmas at Carnegie Hall". Check the video response above.

  • Yes, my favorite scene as well. I'm always looking for CDs of orchestral Christmas carols just like this one, but all I get are half-orchestra, half-singing. The closest one is Andrea Bocelli's version, which is beautiful.

I'm just not a fan of the cheesy versions of the carols. Versions like this one are just magnificent!

  • have you found any? I'm looking for that as well... especially for THIS interretation by john willaism

  • @batocicero Try this "Christmas with The Pops",that you should like a lot.The recording is also of great quality(it a Telarc!).Greetings from italy

  • @batocicero Try Percy Faith And His Orchestra Oh Come All Ye Faithful

  • favorite scene of my favorite movie..

  • ogni volta che lo cedo e lo sento mi da i brividi. spettacolare.

  • who the conducter is that john willilms

  • so beautiful and solemn..o come all ye faithful..best christmas carol ever!!

    merry christmas 2008

  • I know!

  • I love this movie.

  • does anyone know where i can download the full version of this by John Williams?

  • Possibly more accessible with Eugene Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra in "The Glorious Sound of Christmas" and the Temple University Concert Choir. Well worth the investment at any rate. Download? I dunno.

  • i have it

  • A magnificent and immortal song made by the portuguese king Jonh IV in the XVII century. God save the King!Viva El'Rei!!!

  • The text is sometimes attributed to John IV, but the music is credited to John Francis Wade.
