Just buy the game, get a gamespy account, get into the server browsing menu, join a server, and play. :D None of that monthly payment or stressful account bullshit. All you have to worry about before getting this game is setting up a gamespy account if you haven't already. ;)

This game will own Halo3 so bad, you can't even compared the two. For one thing, i'll be surprised if Halo3 is not using the Unreal engine. Secondly, Unreal 2007 will have a boat load of different game types, not to mention all the community MODs and levels. FYI: Gears of War uses this engine...

Halo has always used its own engine, except for the physics. Its used Havok since Halo 2.

Halo 3 will have better graphics and be a better game, unreal tournament dont really have a purpose, just run around and shoot other people for no reason, but i do enjoy the game a little bit.

it will be directX 9.0 from what ive seen on the UT3 website im lucky ove got it. It sucks that they've delayed this till the 3rd quarter of 2007! :(

Nvidia is not going directX 10 only. That would prevent how much of the market from buying the game. It will look best in DirectX 10 but will play fine in 9 like everything else. I suggest you learn how to tweak your PC and get it to run right. my PC is slower than yours and (not overclocked either) and I get decent frame rates with decent effects. Sounds like n00b problem to me.

nvidia directx won't fukin allow you to play this game!!,i have 3 and half gig chip/1mg of ram and the fucker won't even run "dark messiah".you will have to purchase directx 10 which of course you need "vista".
