As an AA, I get what the senator is saying. If we need to regress, we need to back to the Framers and the practice of real Constitutional law. No, we don't need to go back to slavery. We just need to find true equality in the country and we all need to participate in the electoral process. Obama just stinks, period. His two so-called achievements are both shit in disguise. Healthcare reform totally bypassed what the majority wanted (public option) and instead rewarded the billionaire insurance companies and crooked lobbyists. Fail. Finance reform was a total joke and left open (like healthcare reform) huge loopholes for Wall Street to rape us again. Fail. Obama has done nothing to challenge -- much less fix -- the corrupt Washington system. He's terrible.
