I'm not crazy about the stereotypical "raver" either but actually most raver-type people I know do NOT like this song because it is not psychedelic enough for them. i have the ASOT version of Nothing with Armin saying it was my request uploaded, but i have to admit, this is the best version of the song on here. even though i'm sure the original was actually slower than this right?

@whatwhatwhat7 yes it was.. much slower, like 130 or something? but this remix was also produced at around 130 bpm. it was 9 minutes long I think xD. the one on this video here was sped up like 4% or so putting it to 137-8bpm so it makes it about a 7 and a half minute song.

@S2KABM lol thats because the vocals were deliberately chopped so that the human voice is used as an instrument rather than a voice. if you'd like to hear the original vocals just look up... well the original ^.^ the lyrics are absolutely beautiful. but I still prefer this version to all the others.. hands down. but I believe the chorus goes "Cause now I've got, Nothing to hold the fallin'. So how can I, survive this sinking feeling." =)

@TheHybridz09 I think it's because the scene changed the past decade. it became more about drugs and profit than music and love. I try to produce events in my area to bring back that vibe and of course DJ and produce my own music and play others that makes people remember. I also think a lot of producers are subject to harsh deadlines and exhausting tours around the world so that they don't have the time or patience to put their heart into the music they create anymore.. save a very few. =/

...weaving vocals through a series of filtered driving beat arrangement that loops and flips the vocals, causing it to distort and fluctuate within the groove...
