  • best version ive ever seen, very good job

  • shivers on me :)

  • My Piano Teacher Just started me On this song...: ) I am excited to get it all to gather! ;)

  • i learned the whole first movement to this by ear when i was like 8!! i love this song.

  • use your pedal more in the beginning and release after each triad, without it it sounds quite choppy, but other than that its really nice!

  • Brilliantly done - the sound isn't choppy and you play the notes so smoothly. I'm impressed...

  • this is very good!

i played this for a long time myself. it is so beautiful!

my only advice to make it sound even more beautiful is to play it slower and softer, but also make the diffrence between the volume of your left and right hand a bit bigger, so you realy keep the essence of the right hand. and in the beginning when you play the 2 G's with the right hand, make the transition after smooth and than it's perfect. i will be uploading myself too very soon, i would appreceate your oppinon

  • @annetjuh1lu2

Hi, thanks for listening & commenting.

I tend to agree with you.

I'd like to hear your playing once it is uploaded.

  • @annetjuh1lu2 Napa

  • awesome, this music is so fascinating and you're playing it perfectly! hope i'll be able to play it as good as you soon

  • Du machst das Super weiterso !!!

  • That's amazing.

  • Your pace is a little fast, but good

It is a hard piece, I can play it, too

  • @sachi114 His pace isn't fast. Just other people play it slower. This is actually the correct BPM for this song.

  • 1:10 - 1:24 has always been my favorite part. i dont know why.

  • I can play moonlight sonata too and I really liked this video ;-) Keep playin, u have talent..

  • Thank you very much!!!!

  • Hey, man, I have played this song, too. I uploaded it on my channel and was wondering what your opinion is of its performance. Just need some friendly criticism. Thanks! How long have you been playing?

  • Hi, I've had a listen to your playing and BRAVO!

Very nice indeed, it's not for me to criticise but the only comment I would have is to keep paying attention to the movement of the melody in keeping tone and clarity of those notes, it's a very long song and to capture your best performance on video is very difficult I know.

Overall I enjoyed it very much.

I had been playing about a year at this recording, I've been playing guitar and banjo for about 25 years.

  • @melodius64 Well, thank you. I am going to continue recording that piece until I get every kink out of its performance. I still have a lot of work to do in following Czerny's performance directions.

  • ditto. you put my version to shame.

  • @Sonulkka

can you play the WHOLE thing from beginning to end???

i am speaking of ALL three movements. if you can not do this, do not say: I can play the moonlight sonata too!! this particulare sonata is not easy! the fist movement is very pretty but it is not easy to do! it takes special care to get just the first movement right. the second and third are equally as difficult.

  • The sheet music says "without dampers" I believe. So, with pedal.

  • Too loud and a little too fast in all honesty. It should be played with great delicacy. You can play the tune very well, you just need to perfect the tone and tempo. It's a beautiful piece of music and should be played like it.

(Sorry about the bluntness. Hope you appreciate the feedback)

  • Thanks for the feedback, I do appreciate it.

  • @melodius64 its good, very good! but then again as stated by an other user, its too fast and too loud. Play it allegro, and the dynamic should be Pianissimo, always, there are no creshendos. I think the sheet music says to not use the pedal, but rather to make a pedal like hold. Im not sure, i dont read german.

  • Hey, thanks for the feedback, it's appreciated.

The music I used actually has pedal throughout but I accept I'm no expert.

    Thanks again!

  • @supersmashermeta actually... it says without dampers which means pedal down for the whole piece... but with modern pianos depress for the chord changes or half pedal ^_^

  • @melodius64 my mistake i meant italian.

  • i love this ._. ...

  • wow that's just perfect for me. i like the tempo and pedals, check out my attempt please, i play in a different way now but my cam is broken so im not able tu upload a new vid until i get a new one... cheers

  • Excellent!

Im just working my way through this, I took lessons long ago and now I have been slowly working my way through the tunes.

    Cheers!

  • Well played, but I suggest putting more feeling into your playing instead of playing strictly by the notes. Music is art; music is magic.

    Keep it up. =)

  • you play wonderfully, but i think you shouldn't pause in between - it stops the flow of it a bit i believe... but well, i guess that's interpretation...

  • Nice job playing, also the camera gives a feeling to the video

    ..... like the beethoven statue

  • Sounds great! I'm just starting to learn it, so to see you play it from memory is encouraging.

  • What a superb rendition. One of the best I have heard on youtube.

  • mucha tecnica, pero falta soltura

    grandisimo el tema

  • sugoii! ^^ i love this~!

  • because the world is round it turns me on.

  • Nicely played with feeling. Reminds me of 'The Pianist'.

  • Thank you very much!!

  • This is soo beautiful!! Im playing one just like it, i made like 4 videos

  • Wow that is realy butiful

    i wish i could play a piano

  • Thank you!!

  • Very well done!

  • Thank you!!

  • Hey man! Super nicely played, get the grand perfectly tuned, hammers softened, and put a new "muffled" version, will you ;) Are you self taught?

  • Thank you, it's due for a tune isn't it!

Yes, self taught, does muffling mean the soft pedal?

    Thanks for your help!!!!

  • You surely got he beat! If you have a soft pedal, yes. Otherwise try to play a little softer or let the technician soften the hammers. Then ur one of the best! By the way, I'm also amateur =)

  • Great job! I still need to conquer this piece.

  • Thank you

  • you play very well! very nicely done!

  • Thank you!

  • really like the beethoven sculpture in the background, very nicely done, also good capture of an old feel look for the vid

  • Thank you!

  • Bravo Bravo exceptional piece

  • What a beautiful piece!
