back when games were a real challenge, I spent hours and hours of my childhood getting through this one, I finally won this game after who knows how much playtime when I got my hands on the emulator and I swear to god it was FUKING hard without savestates, it took me like 200+ replays of the game.. but in the end it was worth it.

Kid Chameleon, one of the best plateforms games ever ! I play it every year, on February, it's a tradition ! Last year, I game-overed ont the ice level at 26:00. If I remember well, there are two sides, one for the fly mask, the other for the end neeeding the fly transformation !

My favorite type of level : low mountains and savage land

Why Sega never did a remake ? As long and as difficult ?

Very nice dude, the Pinnacle shortcut blew my mind!! Couple of questions though:

1. Surely taking those extra couple of seconds to finish Dragonspike is shorter than the Pinnacle/Hidden Canyon route?

2. Why did you take that teleporter on Bloody Swamp I? Aren't you quicker going through the first teleporter, as you wind up in the exact same place?

I loved the part : hill of the warrior, hONETLYS first time i played it years ago on my MD-SEGA, I managed to get all possible bonuses- even -NO MASK ofc!!! And I like u're style with the - SCOOTER!!!(u know what I mean right) But honestly I was stucked on that LEVEL like the CRYSTAL CRAGS type... where U have to choose between- WHIRLWIND and THE SCOOTER.... so I never beat the game :( .... well once I used the code :P for WARPING on the last boss- PLETHORA!!!

@atipton10 Restarting the level saves time. If he doesn't then he has to fall into the level, and jump his way back up. The restart saved him maybe a second or two. There are several TAS where death saves time.

@roundtr1p There's not enough reflexes on earth to do a non-TAS speedrun of this. It probably took months to do this run and it's tool assisted. If by some miracle someone did speedrun this game unassisted, it would end up as something people would not sit all the way through because the final draft of the run would be hours long, and not look as good.

If you just stand still for a single frame or so and save then there will not be any noticeable difference if you load it etc. You simply do not notice the one of the 25 or even 30 frames per second.
