Cant get the preferences your clip goes to fast I cant see where you getting the preferences from.

I have power director 10 tring to put a transition in folowing your example step for step, I have put the fade in now trying to change the duration and make it the overlap.

But the modify option does not appear on mine that is in yours.

Why would that be.

how do u access the preferences tab? also is there a preferences tab in powerdirector 9?

@horsefreak4evu For the preference tab, look at the top of your window, go to Edit, then to preferences :) or you can just hit Alt+C :)
