There existed a time in this game, where people DIDN'T complain about every new weapon. Polypore Staff was intruduced as a means of balancing the combat triangle, Melee > Range, Ranger > Magic, Magic > Melee, this staff is a big step closer to achieving that balance, melee has been receiving alot of new stuff like claws, korasi, chaotics etc. Range has got HandCannon, Chaotics, and now Magic has an option as an alternative to the Armadyl spell, Which requried lots of questing and levels.

Once you get 99 mage + vecna skull you'll be alot better still :)

Even better if you eventually decided to get a stream, it has a 3m protect value so you wouldn't lose it :]
