you know theres only a select few places that labrie is ever sounding off from the originals, and its usually with a vibrato affect, which i blame him none, one of the harder vocalist techniques

I think that Petrucci, Portnoy, Myung, and Rudess are all amazing musicians, but I just can't get into Labrie. I mean don't get me wrong, he had a great voice back in the day (and in the studio) but I guess it just deteriorates as he ages. When he goes for those really high notes nowadays it just isn't the same.

Labrie is an amazing singer, but yes he does lack recently and this can only be what age eventually does to the body. I mean he is still an incredible singer after what happenned to his vocal chords, i didnt know it was food poisoning but there you go.

He gets worse and worse on each new live DVD. Did anyone see Blind Faith on their new DVD? Labrie during the chorus of that performance almost made me kill myself.

Labrie is an awesomely amazing singer, its just cuz he ruptured his voice because of food poisoning so he can't last that long anymore.But still Portnooy Myung and Petrucci chose him and theyre happy with their choice.

because the dvd sound 5.1 surround, but converter not convert sound to stereo, so left and right channel's are high the others low.
