I definitely wouldnt use a mono amp for highs. Just use a multi-channel amp for highs/voice.

I used it for the subs and a crapy 4 channel sony xplod amp for the highs. Did ok though. I now have an elemental designs nine.1 and 2 Kicker L7 12's on 1200 watts rms @ 1 ohm. Killer!

Yeah, it was a great amp for its size....Its really small and packs a big punch and great sound. For its price you can get a lot better though....its mainly for if you want a good amp, but have limited space for one.

yo. what do you have your box tuned to? i am trying to determine what i should tune my ports to for my ported box in order for the to hit the hardest without distortion.

It's really just personal preference...but most people like to tune their boxes to around 32 hz. I tuned mine to 32 hz and that gives me decent flexibility to have hard hitting low bass and still sound good with metal and rock stuff.

okay. so the lower the down the range, the lower and deeper the bass gets, correct? and 32 hz wasnt hurting your subs? like, the sounded good? any distortion? im asking that because RF says for the P210D2's, the frequency range is 29-200hz. awfully close, but i guess if 32 wasnt safe for the subs, then they would ahve it at like 35. ha.jw

Pretty much yea thats correct. And no it didnt hurt the subs at all, tuning a box to a low frequency cant hurt the sub unless you dont know what your doing and you just push it too far and blow it. I tuned my box for my Kicker l5 12's to 32 hz, but the box for my old RF P210D2's that I had in this video was tuned to 35hz. Id tune 10's to 35 hz and 12's to 32 hz. Thats just my personal preference.

No, I bought a pre-fab box for those when I had them. It was a Bass Slammer box I got from my local audio shop. It was pre-tuned to 35hz per sub too.

I don't have this setup anymore, but when I did have it...it was about 200 watts to each sub. The amp did around 400 watts rms and 2 ohms. It was a decent amp for two P2 10's, but when I got my Kicker L5's it didn't match up to their standards...lol I currently have an Elemental Designs Nine.1 Amp doing 1200 watts @ 1 ohm & 2 Kicker L5 12's. Man those things are monsters!

I don't have this setup anymore, but I think I payed $120 for both subs new on ebay and the amp $160 new on ebay. I really liked this setup, but the only thing was that you can get a much better amp for around the same money in my opinion. I have to fit an amp in a tight space thats why I bought it initially. Still a good amp, but just saying that you can get a much more powerful amp for the same money.

The sound quality in a ported box is great and much louder and boomier than in a sealed box.

And...i dont know what the cubic foot was....I dont have this setup anymore....got a 12" Kicker L5 now. : ) Bangs harder than these two 10's anyway.

i just put that amp in my gf's 325ci today, the box says that its 300w rms, but the PVC paper said that it put out 416w rms and 1256 max. we all know that max doesnt matter at all. im about to upgrade my amp to a 1000.1bd, which should put out about 1200w rms or more.

naw to whoever said theyre 150 to each sub ... rockford puts their amps out way under theyre peak ... the p-300 mono amp puts out around 1200 watts peak power so somewhere around 550 - 600 watts to each sub

I got the pl3-210 and i'm going with a bigger mono amp than the 300.1 maybe the T1001bd by RF, i'm partial to RF as i have RF speakers, ive heard the pl3's in action, great sound. Good luck with the head unit.
