However, I really like the Fords Turbo 6 because in America if you want an inline 6 you go to BMW or Jeep. My thing is this for a 6 cylinder ute I go Ford but for V8s they don't do it like Holden.

@Konformation07 ahh touche. your right though. pickups over there are similar in quite a few ways. they already have the holdens over there rebadged as pickups when really they are utes with a 6.2L V8. but as you said pickups are trucks bud. you might think otherwise as well with fords new 500+hp Coyote Supercharged 5.0L V8.. now they are bound to kill whatever holden has to offer. but the turbo 6 will always be the best go. fuel economy with plenty of all round power.

We already had Holdens rebadged over here as the Pontiac G8 (Holden Commodore) the ute almost came over as the G8 Sport Truck but it was canceled when Pontiac brand was killed off. The thing is your V8's are American always have been but your 6 cylinders are Australian.

yeah, anything can damage the trays if you aren't careful, although metal or wood trays look terrible and are expensive and heavy. And it depends what your after, the sound/ power of a v8 or the conservativeness of a 6.

a 8 will produce more torque but the turbo allows more air to be put into the cylinder before the valve closes the v8 would have moe off the line probably but when the turbo spooled up it may be faster im canadian i dont know about those uk or australian hp ratings

the v8 will have a fatter torque curve than a forced induction motor of a smaller capacity, but if launching it, ur hardly going to take off at 1500rpms when u drop the clutch, & when u launch the turbocharged car it'll be wen its on boost anyway, so the turbo lag doesnt factor in
