the ending is so sweet as Yuuko went back to see Yu but at the same time it was sad that Yu did not get Yuuko back and he even cry when Yuuko say sweet things to him when she was about to go...it was so sad that i nearly cried...Anyways it was a happy ending where everyone was happy..

i had a new strange experience with this anime. at the end of episode 6 when Yuuko is spilling all her secrets. i was so confused, somewhat scared and disordered. that my hand started shaking and tears dropped from eyes. does anyone had the same experience.? ( also after this i went to my work but even then i was kind of shocked of what i saw and heared ). I find this anime one of the best anime series because it was complicated/confusing or sad but also warm and happy. who agrees?

strangely when i first saw Ef - a tale of memories, I was only so so about it. I though it was beautiful but at the same time I never felt anything real for the characters. I mean I didn't like Miyako at all, in fact I couldn't stand her. But when I wactched Ef - A Tale of Melodies, it somehow all tied toegther and now I love each and everyone of them, but I think that was because Yuuko. Yuuko is now one of my all-time favorite characters. This anime was inspiring and simply lovely. SUPERB!

@moonspirityue lol I agree... I've always considered Miyako a selfish brat but everyone seems to like her. I mean, there is so many children whose parents divorced, it's not that big of a deal... I guess we should feel sorry for her. O_o

Yuuko is awesome, I liked Mizuki a lot too ^_^

i hated how Yukuu and Yu were repeatedly separeted from each other, still she waited for him for such a long while never done anything selfish in that time in the end they ended separeted again after all bad thing they experieced just for to be togheter.. how they could make it out again and again while sufering so much.....

la verdad que este anime es de los mejores en cuanto a la parte artistica en cuanto a dibujo, y en la historia, ademas, si bien la trama es algo compleja, por contar varias historias a la vez, se hace entender a la perfeccion, lo que si, es triste el final T.T
