I roasted a Jetta VR6 BAD....in my videos. But then I have headere, exhaust, spacers, BOP, UD pulley, Fidanza flywheel, SPEC stage II clutch and a crap load of other crap. I'm not tuned either and put down 259whp on the dyno. VQ35DE engines are great!! I also hung with a 2010 STI with intake, exhaust and a tune! So 14.1 is not a surprise with the mods you have.
i have an 04 maxima 6spd, nwp block off plate, and a nismo intake, and best my time was 14.6 cant do better. maybe once i get off my shit goodyear eagle rs-a tires ill have more grip. anyways still pretty fast for a huge sedan.
Proper tires should get your better time than that. especially manual. rsas r so crappy - i switched mine to HTR ZIIIs which are cheap ass summer tires, and slashed numbers drastically
totally agree, i hate them and they are finally bald after 80,000 km. lol, im going to be getting some good summer michelins or something a little more sporty if i get the infinity 19's im intrested in.
@thepolishman69 you should get some NITTO NT555 tires. they get awesome traction. try changing out ur stock rims too they spin like crazy and wont let you put ur power down. I run on nittos with 20' rims and I still get off the line quick as shit.
@dreezy670 yea, i hope i get around 14.2ish this summer, if i even run, i just bought a civic that i have gt25 turbo setup ready to get into it, so i think ill be taking that to the track. i hope it's faster then my maxima...but idk lol
I have other vids and have had a best time of 13.9. My maxima is an 04 with a 6mt with only an intake exhaust and engine mounts and i ran my 13.9 on a hot summer day so according to jsnevels2 i must be the best driver on the planet lol jk
@maxztrip no tune? i thought with an intake youd need a tune i think ud be faster with it tuned bc you lose low and mid range hp and you lose torque everywhere without a tune what exhaust do you have? how is it set up?
Wow great time for the maxima. Here in Phoenix, AZ the 3.5 Maximas and Altimas can't come anywhere near 14.1. I saw a G35 do 14.5 once but my friend's 2005 Altima SE only did a 15.1
@jsnevels2 Really? You've seen that at the drag strip in person? Or you've seen it on youtube? I'm guessing on youtube. Doesn't really happen in real life. A stock 6 speed Altima 3.5 can hit 14.1 or 14.2 if it has the best driver on planet earth and is racing at like Lebanon Valley in the winter when the altitude density is like -2000 ft (read: negative 2000 ft which actually happens there and in some other places). Here in AZ I met a guy that was fighting for the world record for the
@jsnevels2 fastest n/a CVT Altima 3.5L. He had all the bolt-ons you can do to the 3.5 while still keeping it n/a and he was running 14.0 @ 101 mph. The guy was only in second place for the WORLD RECORD and it was running 14.0... Granted the 6 speed models are slightly faster but still not capable of 14.1 stock without slicks. My friend's bone stock '05 Altima 3.5 SE 5A/T ran 15.1 stock like I said before which is about right for that car. They have decent pickup but they aren't that fast lol.
@gtdrummerdude Actually real life and on youtube its possible and has been proven. And you act like its hard to reach 13s or low 14 in an altima or maxima im talking bout 2007 nd up altima and 2002-2003 maxima and 2009- maxima
