any computer can play FARCRY2, CRYSIS at 1280x720...all LOW SETTINGS...because at this resolution and LOW QUALITY SETTING, it's more CPU intensive...this is not the point of gaming. 1280x720 & low quality...games looks like crap.

both of these games have benchmark tools. please use it. and use native resolution of monitor.

My GTX 295 barely get 29fps at VERY HIGH 2560x1600...this game is ahead of its time.

In fact, Windows works with Macs. Now they have Intel processors, you can boot on any Windows version you like, thus using the full capacity of your hardware.

Just search "Boot camp" (mac OS X 's feature that allows Windows or [almost] any other OS)

There is a difference between the new Macbooks and the new Macbook Pros. The Macbook Pros have either a 256 MB or 512 MB dedicated 9600m GT Video card. The Macbooks only have the 9400m integrated graphics. It will not run NEARLY as good with just the Macbook, my roommate tried and it was pretty much a slideshow. The difference is all in the graphics card. Also, this has to be the PC version (there is no MAC version).

I'll admit Macs are quality products. My gripe with Macs is that they are overpriced. For the same price of a Mac, I could get a PC with far better performance, regardless of various problems that Windows-based PC have. Blame Microsoft for having buggy OSes.

He means they're the same damn thing. The only difference is software. Also hardware manufacturers differ slightly (apple makes some of their own hardware.) The reasons PC's tend to crash more is because the software seems to be slightly more buggy, as well as Microsoft having to write Windows to work on millions of different hardware configurations. The only difference is software and looks.

actually mac is just the sofware, apple computers are PC, and recently with they getting Intel processors more so, and mac doesnt crash as often because apple controls the hardware mac is placed into, windows has to make software for countless hardware, so it doesnt work flawlessly on all systems

I was using PC for 14 years. I'm using Mac for Year so I know what I'm talking about!!! Compatibility is better, because you don't need to install hundreds of drivers. They are already there. Programs are for everything i need and I'm very exacting person. Yes there are more programs for Windows but half of them you need for Windows to run smoothly. Last but not least you can run Win on Mac and use benefits from both operating systems. Can you do this on a PC? I don't thing so.
