Whether or not this video is from the eighties, I do not care. It provides us with so much information. If the watchers of this video are unhappy with it being so old, I encourage them to make a newer, more up-to-date version with the same amount or more information to advance us further. :-) Thank you for posting it. It is helping with my homework. :-) Keep getting more of us involved in science!! :-)
@Ocmobile1 i agree that it is not recent (but 80's that is too much...LOL) but it'll help pple understand the basics of genetics and the genetic material.....
@eliash1988 Specific methodology to know well. But Darwin belief base prevents its use well enough to form species. It is likely that I am the only one who is completely different, a new species formation theory and its principles will tell others. Perhaps, in order to better understand, to look into my account. There is one clip.
Im a centaur from the fourth planet nicron in the outer galaxies. I have braved the chorzgan warriors and fought through the evil Tubby of Tuba to give your video transmission this message of encouragement. KEEP ON TRUCKING
Methods of DNA transfer actually has new names rather than the ones you see in the video. There is translation, transcription and i forgot the last one.
this is a great show because it helped me as a studen and its going to help alot of student to understand those things wich is hard to imagen loolz any way thanks for the one who did put it....
I had the idea that symbiotic bacteria played a large roll in evolution... The more I look into it the more is seems plausible.
Any thoughts on this?
PS: In regards to intervention, keep in mind that the human population is already too large for earth. Also culture in Africa is set to birth rate more compatible with a lower life expectancy. Keep balance in mind.
This is pretty cool but why oh why is conjugation always portrayed incorrctly. No one has ever shown DNA going through the sex pilus. By the action of polymerization ad depolymerization it likely that the pilus grabs hold of and reels in the recipient cell. Upon CONTACT between the two cell surfaces, a conjugation bridge is formed separate from the pilus. Every movie seems to get this wrong. Didn't Maggie So watch this video?
This looks like a dharma initiative movie haha

Translation and transcription have nothing to do with genetic transfers.
Transcription is the forming of mRNA out the DNA of a gene while translation is the process where mRNA is used as a template to form proteins.
