I think the problem was pilot error, as the damage would still have occured without the kit. The grass just prevented the training kit from sliding and so the chopper would tip over when it hit the ground. The kit doesn't work on non-smooth surfaces.
Desperately try to keep the heli tail-in, and maybe don't fly stunt mode to start (it looked like you were getting some negative pitch at times).

I dont think the wet grass mattered any... Phil needs to learn to hover before he flys anywhere :)
