WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS, I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN CLEVELAND AND THIS CHURCH WAS SO BEAUTIFUL, I USED TO GO THERE FROM THE AGE OF 4, IM NOW 52 LIVING IN LAS VEGAS AND CLEVELAND WILL ALWAYS BE MY HOME AND ST. EMERIC'S WILL ALWAYS BE MY CHURCH. THEY NEED TO APPEAR TO THE WEALTHY FOR DONATIONS AND SAVE THESE BEAUTIFUL CHURCH'S

Many of the clergy and laity are asleep. Pope Paul VI said back in 1972, "The smoke of Satan has entered the church." No one really listened. Our Lady of Fatima warned us of the evil that would befall the church and no one really listened either. Ever since Vatical II the false spirit of ecumenism has been destroying the church. We are no longer Catholic but Protestant. By their fruits you will know them. The church if full of heretical priests and bishops wonder why we don't practice the faith

@GraveyardGhost677 My sentiments exactly. As time went on, the churches should have been houses of prayer for all people, but they ended up becoming private ethnic clubs which were xenophobic to outsiders. They're reaping what they're sowing....

Priests MUST be Priests! and Proclaim the TRUTH, rather than being part of the modern world and not wanting to "offend" anyone. The world is evil and the clergy do Nothing to SAVE SOULS. Modernism is a disater in the Church with women where they don't belong, habitless "nuns". Until love, reverence and respect for Our Lord returns the churches will continue to empty. PEOPLE, PLS receive Jesus on the tongue in communion! If you only knew the abuse it really is to receive in the hands!

The people who are crying about closings really have no right to complain, because most likley they have never done a lick of actual evangelization in order to FILL the church pews.

I hope that this parish has remained open. St Emeric is my great-uncle many generations ago. . . I am a direct descendant of St Stephen of Hungary. I shall put it in my prayers. . .
