The reason why i want my sax to be like that is, that i dont like the sound of laquered saxophones (thats why borgani doesnt laquere their saxes), but then, my fingers would smell like oxidating metal, and with the A992, the colour difference between the brass keys and bronze body is ugly imho, and thats why i want nickel plated keys.

Ciao il suono è ottimo, sarebbe importante sapere come lo ha i registrato. Qui su YT ci sono strumenti di rango in mano a gente che magari si capisce che sa dove mettere le mani ma hanno un suono atroce, e credo dipenda dai mezzi di registrazione.

i only played tenor for 1 semester my junior year of high school 4 years ago and played a cheapo learners alto since 6th grade. i never practiced though but i am good but damn i wish i sounded that good
if you dont practice i doubt you can be any good.... Unless your a prodigy, but even then if you did practice you could be the next Illinois Jaquet... and the price of the sax doesnt matter as long as it works ;)

La tua nn è una fissazione: ogni musicista trova il set-up che va bene x sè. Nn c'è il migliore o il peggiore, il discorso è molto personale. X quanto riguarda i Selmer, anche io avevo un SA 80 II l'ho venduto x prendere il Borgani e nn mi sono mai pentito di averlo fatto, neanche x un giorno. Molti comprano il nome, ma dei vecchi Selmer mark IV ormai nn rimane che un pallido ricordo. Se si potessero provare senza leggerne il marchio, nessuno li comprerebbe x come suonano. Ciao e grazie.
