Frederick is a nice town. I have traveled all over the US, and it is one of the nicer places to live and visit. Yes, it is not going to have the excitement of, say, New York, but it makes up for it in other ways. Also, in the downtown area, there are nice places to visit, eat diner, have a beer, and enjoy the old part of town. And with the history of the town and region, national and state parks in the surrounding area,and historical areas within driving distance, you can find fun.
