@360fanboy360 It is a K&N air filter. Don't buy it though. They are only supposed to run in 1/1 cars and not in the small ones, because they let small particles through regular R/C filters do not let through.

Nice sound but there is a huge downside.

I am familiar with these kind of filters and they are know to filter bigger particles (like leaves etc..) but in many cases it will NOT filter out the sand or dust particles which can result in engine damage on the long term.

thats the k&n air filter they suck because they dont filter as well as foam ones and they restrict air flow like a bitch because they were made as crank case breathers for cars. if you want a really good filter look into buying the one from vortice-br those are great.

dang is that a metal spur gear u got there i was goin to get a metal spur gear for my savage x but i didnt there like $80 and if u get a metal spur gear the secondary gear that the spur gear is on will get all choped up trust me it will happen one day when ur playing with ur savage it did it to my uncle my dad and my bro it wil hapen to u too

If you have a hardened metal spur gear coupled with a standard (STOCK) clutch bell that is NOT hardened then the spur gear will eat that clutch bell up in about an hour or so. I think that's what burtonkidd was talking about.

I hope you know that filter if killing you engine. Sure they look nice but they just can't catch the little dust particles as good as the stock Savage Air filter or the Motorsaver air fitler. I admit it looks awesome though. The stock Savage X air filter is actually very good. And if you are wanting to upgrade you airfilter get a motorsaver.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO dont use nitro fuel what are you crazy? soap and water. once you are dont that Air filter oil and make the foam MOIST! Thats is a huge wast of nitro fuel! also if ou go it your filter will flake off and pretty much disinigrate.
