amazing i have been a fan of the lynton and barnstaple for years and i was kicking myself because i was in the area and could'nt stop of at woody bay. just cant wait imagine lyd visiting again in a few years with L&B's own lyn and yeo with a rake of original L&B coaches

Its great to see this replica L&B Manning Wardle loco on the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway, a sight which I am sure will bring smiles to many - it certainly did for me. Shame it will be returning to Wales shortly, however at least the 762 Club has been formed to construct, own and maintain a replacement L&B Baldwin 2-4-2 "Lyn", which I understand is progresing well. What a lovely shot of a scene which everyone thought would never be seen again! Lyd just looks so right in the landscape for which she was built (with apologies to the FR and WHR).
