While Bearpaws are SLIGHTLY less quality, and not as 'plush,' they cost way way less. I don't want to pay twice as much, or even more, for an Ugg tag or a little extra stuffing in my boot.
I got some bearpaws from macys and they got ruined in like one month and i barely wore them. Emus are a little better for only $120. They last long and are very warm and comfortable. I have uggs and emus and prefer uggs more. I got the classic ugg mini kimono for $85 on zappos.com and they are amazing! I recommend uggs more and i certainly do not recomment bearpaws.
1 im enviromental and hearing that 8 sheep got killed for 1 pair of uggs is awful
2 i really dont want to spend like 150 or 200 $ on a pair of shoes if my feet are still growing
3 bearpaw is just as comfortable

@oOWolfluverOo to tell you the truth, i had bearpaw and i was one of those people who would say "bearpaws are comfortable and affordable" but after 5 months of caring for it, they started to break. not only that but they aren't comfortable. i got a pair of uggs cardy for 89 dollars at a store and they were softer than the bearpaws and they last longer. not only that but some bear paws have actual sheep fur in it too.
@oOWolfluverOo If you don't like real animals being used for shoes, you might not want to support Bearpaw anymore. I know that at least most of their fur boots use real fur. Personally, I don't have a problem with it, but just giving you a heads up.

I'm ok with deerskin or cow because deer are overpopulated but sheep aren't so i'd rather not buy boots that are made wholly of sheep. All the boots that i have gotten have shearling at the bottom and nothing more for the rest is just suade. thank you though
Bearpaws are a good choice if you're financially savvy! Why spend $140 on one pair when you can buy 3 different styles. Plus I don't wear the same pair of Bearpaws everyday so they last JUST as long! It's all personal preference. I like having tons of different styles and Bearpaws (imo) have the cutest styles.

(Bearpaws came out before uggs, just so you know.) and if bearpaws were "fake" uggs, wouldn't they have a fake ugg logo on the back? FAKE uggs are boots you pay 150 bucks for, but they aren't made out of the same quality materials. Bearpaw is just a diffrent brand. GOLLY. GOSH. get a life.
@hellookittygeek i suggest you get the ugg slippers, because i had the bearpaw slippers and they ripped down the side and they didnt last me that long.
Well i dont agree ugg are worth the price i have bear paw boots and they are already ripped so i threw them away plus those dont even look like reall uggs sorry but i prefer paying 140 dollars that are in a good shoe and in a really great choice ten 79 dollars in a crappy shoe

I also found that the bottums of the bear paws are thicker and more durable. I used the protection treatment on both pairs following the directions/recomendations exactly, and the bear paws lasted way longer. the uggs also got a hole in the toe whereas the bearpaws did not because they are thicker.
well that was the old uggs the new ones are way softer now than the bearpaw cause ii hav a pair of short uggs and if yhuu want yhuur uggs tall then buy the tall ones

@AllSmilesForever78 Uggs last longer. Maybe if you seen some people at school with uggs that look worn out and stuff, they dont take care of it and maybe had it for a quite long time. I suggest uggs because they are 10x better and warmer and they are made of real sheepskin. :)
