The original "ice pick lobotomy" was preformed with ice picks from his home.He hammered them into a person's brain through their eye sockets.He drove around the country in a van he called the "lobotomobile" preforming nearly 2500 lobotomies.I know some one who had a lobotomy.After time passes they get some brain function back, but they spend the rest of their lives almost trapped, aware but unable to achieve what they need or want to do.
