Docm77 you have a mastery for aesthetics that completely eludes me. You channel is inspiring and I borrow and modify things I see on your world and others to fuel my own projects...
I can't keep up with my projects.... Sooo many cool things to build!!!
@drauss001 Thank you so much dude! I´m happy that people are trying to evolve my stuff and have already heard about a few other people implementing some things. So, please feel free to improve my designs or copy or get inspired..or what ever you want to do. Hopefully, I will sooner or later be able to show some of the video responses and stuff on my channel. But, so far, only videos for the competition arrived. So, build and share dudes;-)
@ZawBanjito Hehehehe....thank God I said I´m not a hardliner about this topic. Cause if I was, I´d tell the creepers of the world to destroy the spartacus machine and never set one foot in one of your constructions ever after;-)
I've been watching your vidoes for a while now and just decided to subscribe now because of this video because of what was said. You guys should not have to defend yourself over this crap. the game is still in beta more than likely your maps will be broken. anything built till the game is officially released is just a test world anyway So people should just get off your backs.
@feartechnition Thanx dude for the great feedback. Also thanks a lot for subscribing! Really appreciate;-) Well, basically we all hope that the maps will not break cause of future updates. I think, the guys around notch really should be careful so stuff like that can´t happen. I mean, my world took some time to create, but there are way more epic creations out there. e.g. the Enterprise thing and many others. No way they will risk breaking maps in future updates! Major uproar if so;-)
Mojang should introduce a vending maching block. It would work like a crafting table, but you put in gold and diamonds and get stacks of crafted items. Say put 3 gold bars in a vertical line and you get 64 mine crart tracks. Or put in 9 diamonds in a full cube and get 64 glow stone. It would keep the mining aspect of the game and make building those impressive constructions you youtube guys make a bit easier.
@rc23robert That´s an awesome idea dude! There are vending machine designs out there, but they are not as practical as such a block would be! Mhm, that needs further investigation! Thank you so much for your feedback!
@EthosLab Thank you Etho! Why don´t you take part in the next Episode. We would be glad to hear your standpoint about lot´s of stuff. And I´m pretty damn sure lot´s of people out there too;-)
@stnbtv That´s the only way you can to this really large projects in a legit way. If more people dedicate to one task and then start grinding together. Really awesome, and the feeling of accomplishment is even better when you´ve done it as a group! Basically that´s why you don´t see any really massiv structures in my world. I just do not have the time to grind for it all. Every project I start, typically takes 2 - 6 weeks to finish.
Whichever method you choose is fine with me. It is more impressive to do it "legit", particularly if the project is big or complex, but there's no shame in it if you don't. The only problem I would have would be if somebody were pretending to do it legit but really hadn't.
ok, im not saying inv edit is bad, but imo there is 2 methods of playing it. DO IT, OR DONT DO IT. If you do it, you cant go back, if you dont then you will work harder, but have a better sence of accomplishment.
@GetSavedD00d Yeah dude. I mean, about the underwater minecrat tunnel with all the glowstone: I am really proud cause it was so much work. So I understand what you are talking about. But, as some peole say, that stuff created with invedit is worthless, I don´t think so.
my philosophy is if it's for a tutorial or if it takes over an hour for build time, and you want/need it done ASAP then you hack... after all your creativity is unlimited, but your time IS limited...
@ninjafrog666 Yeah! Just recently, I found out that it´s reall yhard to keep on showing new stuff, doing the videos, maintaining the channel and still find some time to grind. Right now, I still got some resources left, but for glowstone....well, it gets really tough. I hope I can keep it up, but maybe at some point in the future, I might have to make a special rule for glowstone. Hopefully, in future updates, the drop rate when you harvest it, will increase (as seen on lapis) ;-)
@auPointX Yeah. That´s a point. But on the other hand, since I found my first diamond, mining lost a bit of it´s "fun" ;-) Still love it, but yeah, harvestinhgglowstone is a real pain;-)
Invedit is fine for making videos or tutorials, stuff like that, but those would best be used in seperate save files. I must agree, with the whole "creation by invedit is worthless" in the same way I revere architects over movie or gaming designers. When the block of dirt must be harvested, a sense of soul is given to it. There is emotion driven into labor, and that which it produces. Would the pyramids be such a marvel had it been done by easier means? The blood and sweat is part of its enigma.
@kennykiller911 Absolutelly right. I only was thinking about invedit for extrem szenarios. E.g. Two days ago I died in tne Nether with 45 Glowstone in my pocket;-) In that situation, I really wanted to have an editor...lol But well, so far I resisted and I´m pretty sure I can keep it up. The downside is, that you migt see slow progress in many of my buildings and constructions;-)
@gunthaz Thanx dude. This some kind of a test ballon to see if this format is something useful. We will se, but obviously it sparked some discussions;-)
don't want say anything bad about it, its really awesome, but etho have it more creative and cool in compact way, not hugeness.he doesn't collect 1000000lightstone for example.
remember when he dumped lighting storage house with lightstone, because it would take too long to collect?
What is the ip or the server?

My problem with invedit (one might call it cheating) is that I just might lose interest in the game when all the items suddenly lose their value.
For tutorials, okay, but I'm afraid once I cheat I won't wanna go mine the stuff anymore.
