  • this is a great video. by the way what is the music that you put in this? it's good.

  • @nongotoAbo101 oh never mind!

  • Every time I see a picture of Anne Frank it triggers the memory of when I first saw a picture of her when I was little and instantly fell in love. I know it sounds stupid, but it is true.

  • She was so pretty, cute & had lovely smile. ^^

  • Very nice.

We have a responsibility to care for all people.

Hitler reminded us that there are monsters in the world, of which, he was one of the worst.

Other madmen, like Ahmadinejad of Iran, threaten to wipe Israel off the map. Anti-semitism is as bad today as it ever was. People have deadly murderous mindsets.

  • 1:59 of the happy mom and her 2 small children make me cry!!!!! They were so happy then taken away from each other to die slowly :( :(

What makes it sadder is if they lived 2 more weeks they were to be freed from the concentration camp!!!!! even the mother! I can never imagine my mother going through pain and dying alone..they remind me exactly of me, my younger sister and my mom. Our 3 personalities are similar! Just think of all the other millions who perished the same way. :( :(

  • @Em183 You are right, it's pretty sad. I think I read of the millions that passed through Auschwitz, only about 70,000 survived. One that did was Kitty Hart Moxon, she went back in 1979 and made a vid. It's a 14 part series called "Kitty Return to Auschwitz", it's posted on YouTube. It's very amazing if you are interested.

  • @clintonearlwalker thanks I'll take a look.

This makes me think- To be honest I don't care about myself dying as much as my family members suffering...esp. alone. I hate to see pain on people's faces. Hate it so I can't imagine that horror and the horrors that go on part of daily life in this world. But Anne Frank gives a voice to the silent millions and makes you think so much.

  • @Em183 Anne, Margot, Miep, Otto and the others were a few people that suffered along with millions of others. I was just looking at a site that had a page called "all staff" from Bergen Belsen. For instance Herta Bothe, a guard, received a 10 year prison sentece, released in 1951, lived till 2000. Belsen was absolutely hell on Earth. While there are many very nasty places in the world right now, nothing can compare to the Nazi camps. I wish you and your family well, Cheers!! C.Walker

  • @0EyeSiGHT

I mean "by them" of course.

  • @vernicegirl8987

You're so right! Hitler was nothing more than a scaredy cat who didn't have the courage to pay for his sins and his horrible, inhuman doings. He proofed how ridiculous and cowardly he really was by shooting himself in his safe shelter while the war continued. He was just someone with a disorted self-image in his head and huge megalomania. He and the ones who supported him are supposed to suffer in hell forever like the millions of people suffered whose lives were destroyed by t

  • At 2:22 who was the taller girl standing with her?

  • @twistedyogert Her sister, Margot.

  • Anne,

You Will Always Be A Huge Part Of My Heart. I Wish You Could Be Alive To See That So Many People Love You And They Always Will, Your Such A Beautiful Little Girl On The Inside And Out. R.I.P. We All Love You

  • If Hitler was still alive, I wouldn't just kill him to take him out of his misery, bot to sound gruesome, but I would let him feel pain in every way possible, mentally and physically. So he can see how those people suffered for doing absolutely nothing wrong. Well except he did a thosand things wrong in every single way. R.I.H....... Rest in hell hitler

  • @vernicegirl8987 I doubt that someone as abominable and worthless as him could feel any pain.

  • It makes me sad to think of what she endured!

  • She will live again!

  • its so sad when you see these pictures of a happy girl, and then you hear the struggle she went through in the last 6 months or so of her life

  • What a life. It was full for most of her 16 +/- years until Satan came on the scene. I see that 25 someones didn't like this presentation. I wonder if they are Neo-Nazis or just plain anti-semites. Imagine her life in your mind as to what all little girls go through growning up with plenty of dreams and wishes for a long life and family. It's a pity this world is apt to destroy anyone just because someone idiot in power wants others destroyed. Sucks bad canal water.

  • So sad what happene to the jewish people and to think their people out there who are in denial that the holocaust happened. I pray history does not repaet it self..God Bless Israel and her people. May God always watch over you. Happy Birthday Anne..I for one will never for get you and the other jews that suffered..

  • Happy Birthday Anne. I'll never forget you

  • Happy birthday Miss Anne Frank, you will always live forever in our hearts.

  • Happy Birthday Anne! I could not imagine you at 82!

  • @RobsiejB oooohh so they killed her their thatss sad :(

  • Did anne die in the holocaust or in the camp or did she survive ?

  • @FriendshipBracelet3 She died in the concentration camp Bergen Belsen in Germany, around March 1945.

  • @RobsiejB how long was she in a concentration camp for?

  • @adamwest75 About 7 months, in 3 different concentration camps. Westerbork, Auschwitz-Birkenau and Bergen-Belsen.

  • @RobsiejB thts really sad :(

  • @RobsiejB Sorry but what is Holocaust? And what is concentration camps?

  • @QueenPat09 It takes three seconds to look it up on Google.

  • mein gott im himmel let her rest in peace if i could of been there to save her.

  • If anne was alive today, she would have been a famous writer

  • Poor anne, R.I.P u will always be in our hearts

  • this beautiful poor girl died by the hands of these damned bastards!!!! RIP ms. frank. god be with you always.

  • my grandparents were almost killed by these bastards

  • I feel soooooo bad for Anne. her family, all the other members of the secret annex, and all the victims of the holocaust. But if this had never happened we wouldn't have this to remind us how truly lucky we are to be alive. I do wish Anne was alive today but now we have this diary to charish and remember.

  • so sad.. im sorry i dont have much to say that girl gave us a big peice of history and she will be remembered r.i.p anne frank

  • She was a very beautiful child and NO ONE diserved what she and the victims of the haul*cast did :'(

  • This is so sad, I've been interested about Anne and others who were victims of the Holocaust for awhile and have looked up to the views that Anne had no mater what she had gone through despite for what the holocaust meant as complete horrible. She may have been young yes, but that doesn't mean that she couldn't have her views counted despite for what happened. We need more people like this, more people to look up to for things such as this in this unfair and cruel world.

  • really sad what little children have suffered...

  • :(

  • She got what she wanted didn't she (: she's now published as a real writer, i know she'd be happy

  • Such a cute little kid.

  • Elfen Lied! Excellent choice imho

  • f**** you nazi!

No place and no excuse for racists to this earth!

  • very dark period in humanity.......... lol i just said dark perioid............but seriously R.I.P to all the men women a children who died in the holocaust and WW2 for that matter.

  • Aw you sure the picture at 1:23 was her? but otherwise a beautiful video. i was crying

JEDEN TAG STERBEN TAUSENDE KINDER AN HUNGER!!! Ich schäme mich für die Menschheit!

  • @truecologne Gut gesagt

Pozdrowienia z Kolonii / Niemcy

  • rip anne frank (l)

    i love you

  • Why do people thinks its ok to kill people?

  • @vernicegirl8987 I would like to hear the answer, but there is no answer

  • fin jente

  • For anyone that is interested, there is a book called The Last Seven Months of Anne Frank written by Willy Lindwer. As you can imagine it aint easy reading but I tried to write a screenplay on Anne Frank so had to use all the sources available to me. It remains to be the only book I have ever read that made me cry each time I opened it. That young girl went through so much shit its hard to comprehend, but on a brighter note, she is in the dictionary. She will live forever.

  • Anne and Margot were just beautiful young women. I pray for her and all who suffered the pain and suffering of the Holocaust. Rest In Peace <3

  • the whole story of the Frank family, is completely heartbreaking. what the Germans did..........but Anne Frank, still believed people were good at heart. I really look up to Anne....shes my inspiration.

  • Hope you are doing well Anne, you take care now. Another horrible thing of what humans are capible of doing to other humans.

  • whos the boy in the suit on 2:32

  • LOVE YOU Anne... I cry when I see you... I will Read Your diary someday... GOD BLESS You and Your amazing Family... LOVE You...

  • Anne I love you cry when I think about... I hope to read you're diary someday... LOVE YOU Anne... God Bless You...

  • Deaths during the annihilation of the Jewish race in Europe:

    Camps 3,000,000 (up to)

    Shootings 1,300,000 (over)

    Privation 800,000 (over)

  • Wow, it shocks me to say the least, Anne's dream was to become famous (or an actress) and her dream came true. Look at those views, people. Look at how many videos there are of her, a movie, and her diary is now a published book! Yes, she did die in the holocaust BUT her dream didn't die. It came true. ^^

  • Anne, I`m so sorry for everything you`ve went through. You`ve changed millions of people`s perspective on life and especially mine. I never knew how precious life was to me until I read your diary. Because of you I am thankful for my life. You also made me a more positive person. You taught me to overcome the darkness of life and embrace the beautiful things. I`m one of the people you inspired with your hopes and dreams. Rest peacefully above the heavens with your family, darling. We miss you.

  • Rest in peace...

Whenever I watch something like this, it makes me feel so incredibly sad to know that they died in the most terrible way imaginable... Why did she have to die? Why did ANYONE have to die!?

May all who died during those horrible years be remembered forever... <3

  • i dont think there anyother person out there like Anne Frank. she was no is an amazing person who i think would left her mark on this world dead or alive. learning about her had to the saddest part of history next to both the 9/11, Pearl Harbor, and Haiti. Anne's story right now had just topped them all.

  • you know, I just read some articles about the Holocaust being false or exaggerated; and have to ask myself, how does anyone try to say this did not happen? and after seeing this video, how does any person not be moved by the reality this set of pictures portray?? the most touching one was the one at 2:01 :( very sad....thanks for sharing this with all of us.,

  • Anne ILY! Your so awesom, ur like the best thing evar!

  • lol nice music.

  • Anne Frank is a beautiful girl. she is a sweet heart !!!

  • fu** U HITLER the evil one Grrr :@ Im so happy he dead imagine he in live NOW omg

  • I've just one question ... Why?

  • i cant stop crying its so sad i show very respect for her

  • To ChixRChattel...I'm glad the people policing this channel caught your BS before it got spewed onto other people.

You should be ashamed of yourself. And there's still enough time to capture this...

Jesus was a Jew. He was born of Jewish parents. He was also probably born in an Arab land (look up Jerusalem).

Dude, just accept we are all connected...and don't be the bad root that kills the tree.

  • We remember her and the two million children who's lives and potential was cruelly cut short by the evil of Nazism

  • lindo! obrigado! god bless....ceni from brasil

  • Comment removed

  • I think that with the publication of the diary and the fact that Anne Frank is well-known(and this video) puts the human face on the atrocities committed in the Holocaust and helps to stop the numbers of people who were killed as being thought of as statistics(i.e.there were 11 milion murdered).

  • so sad how so many where murdered for no reason what so ever.never again will this be the case. never again.

  • never again nazi retards.

  • Who sings the song on this video?

  • @imacceptingbut

It's from an anime called "Elfen Lied" (of which I absolutely LOVE! lol)

    It's the opening song I believe =]

  • @MisshaCapricorn THANK YOU!!!! I'll look it up from here :)

  • What a lovely little girl! Does anyone know who sings the song on this vid btw? I love the haunting melody!

I first read Anne's diary when I was 10 or 11. From that moment and until this day I've investigated the Holocaust and its victims (and perpetrators) with the most chilled of eyes - - - how could ANYONE do these things to another human being? It should never be pinned on just Hitler...someone needs to coin "Hitler & Company". He had help...lots and lots of willing help.

  • Thank you so much for up loading. I have never seen these pictures.

  • When you look at her it is impossible to imagine how anyone could have hurt her You think of all the victims and wonder how this ever could have happened.

  • 1:23 omg *-* sooooooooooo beautiful :O

  • R.I.P. Anne and all those who lost their lives. I have nothing but great respect for what they have endured.

    Love from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

    Peace xx

  • With more people like you... this world could be a better world!!!

    Peace!!!

  • Memories, photos, of a tragic life but one that has given meaning to the true immortality of a young girl who will always live in the hearts and minds of the young, the old and all who care.

  • And, oh, to think! All those stories that were never told!

  • wow, so many photos i haven't seen before. where did they all come from!

  • Its so sad what happened too Anne and her family. This may seem silly, but i would like to apologize to those who have seen my comments on other Anne frank videos. i don't usually do that, I just get aggravated with people like that. Anyway, may Anne and her family R.I.P

  • @nancydrewfan7890 Remember those people that you mention are trolls with many usernames. Notice how their comments and words are the same? They only target the Anne Frank related videos. So ignore them.

  • thank you so very much for this

  • Wow, shes so pretty!

  • when i watch this my eyes really start to water up.

  • @dog4company

    anne is real from .

    born in frankfurt

  • i am reading the book right now.

    its really good.

  • @BeerCanBeachKitty the last entry is really sad

  • 1:25 is soooo pretty!!!!!

  • @HMClark1227 biddy noo ihht aintt!

  • @singingstar56 well i think it is :)

  • a true story anis still happening to many out there

  • @AALIYAHBROWNXXX what do you mean its still happening?

  • I hope she's doing good in Heaven. God Bless!!

  • Anyone else find this just a bit creepy? But in all seriousness, it's amazing what someone can do with some black&white photos, simple transitions, and the right song.

  • @5thsurvivor What's so creepy about it?

  • @JayOleck The way the music goes with the photos creates an ominous feel. Like the beginning to a horror movie that you know is just gonna make you cringe for days.

  • @5thsurvivor Yeah, I suppose, but it is a holocaust video. I think it's supposed to have a kind of ominous feel. Can you imagine a video like thins with happy, Disney-esque music in the background? Probably wouldn't work.

  • @JayOleck No, but I never said it should. I'm just surprised it had the effect that it did on me. It's a compliment to RobsiejB.

  • @5thsurvivor I know you never said that. I'm just yanking your chain a bit. Little levity and whatnot.

  • I love this video and the song fits perfectly.

  • An odd observation: Anne lived through some of the bar none worst conditions with 7 other people in a cramped attic due to the biggest travesty in human history, and yet she still wrote "I believe people are really good at heart." I've met so many people who give up on humanity because of the things they see from the safety of their living room couch on the six o'clock news. Why is it that the people who complain soooo much are the ones who really have absolutely zilch to complain about? Shrug.

  • @JayOleck Thats becuase she was a very positive person, unlike others.

  • @lololauren2001 May we all learn from her example, eh?

  • @JayOleck Yes, we all should.

  • @JayOleck I don't get it too.

  • The world is a better place because of that June day, so long ago

When you came into the world.

    Annelies Marie, shalom. Peace.

Your memory, like your spirit, lives on

And shines as brightly today as ever.

  • Schoolchildren everywhere and their parents too

Are familiar with your name and the words that you

Penned in the light of your secret upper room

Read by boys and girls, by survivors, by a tearful mother or father

Who think of you before they kiss their own children goodnight.

You reached the same age as my daugher, and remind me of her

Your spirit lives in all who se the good in life

And hope for freedom and a better day, despite strife

    You will never be forgotten.

  • (My tears flow, I'm not ashamed, I curse that pride)

    Your smile haunts me,

I can almost hear your schoolgirl laughter, so happy, carefree,

Echoing through the long corridors of time

You played and went to school and did ordinary things

    That make life so great

You had such a beautiful family - why could the world not let you all be?

You wanted to be a journalist, to write,

But I bet you never imagined

Your words would see so much light

  • and wonder if I should

You found a reason to smile and hope and still believed that others were basically good

You found beauty in simple things

And lived each moment fully with each day's pass

Not suspecting the horror of tomorrow - like the night of the broken glass

You bring both a smile and a tear as I read about when

You were living your life as normally as you could

While the fear around you was so dreary

The took your citizenship and made you hide

  • Annelies You were her for so short a time Your smile could light a room Your youth was taken from you But your spirit, oh how it flew Annelies Marie, the world knows who you are In an unimaginable night you were a shining star And I hope you don't mind That we peer into your heart through the words you left behind. I feel at once so honored to read them, and then I know those words are private, for you alone, Your diary. I sense that I am entering into a holy place, your thoughts,
  • @dbj1976 I'm not what you would call religious, but I give your statements here a solid amen. Very well said.

  • Happy birthday, Anne!

  • happy birthday Anne Frank,81 years old!!!

  • ITS ANNE FRANKS BIRTHDAY TODAY,SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN 81 YEARS OLD!!!!!!!!!

  • Israel has a complicated problems now. I don't have any ideas what Anne would say. She would approve or not. I don't know.

  • "A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly against the city. But the traitor moves amonth those within the gates freely, his sly whispers rustling through all alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself."

    -Marcus Tullius Cicero 106-43 BC

  • @dog4company she used a foutian pen, join the floresinic science career branch, they have a page of her diary in Holland thats PROVES the paper was around during 1939 and soo on

  • When I watched her smiles, I cried on my keyboard.

  • @bjbinmke HAA HAA,I KNO MEE TOO,HER SMILE WAS VERY NICE

  • @bjbinmke Shes so pretty, and its sad. I cried too (=

  • @bjbinmke I didnt cry, but i felt pain.. :( R.I.P Anne Frank

  • @dog4company On top of that denial of the Holocaust, AND Anne Franks diary in most of Europe is forbidden, there are laws in Germany, France and some other European countries that make the spreading of lies about "Auschwitz" – and thus also lies about the diary of Anne Frank – a criminal offence.

  • @RobsiejB i dont think it iss in germany.

or in france whered you hear that?

  • @dog4company I use official documents. Anne Franks diary is obviously not a forgery. It has been scientifically proved.

  • @dog4company Levin prevailed in his lawsuit, but settled for a lesser amount of damages, rather than continue with expensive litigation, since the Hacketts decided to appeal the verdict, but Levin still obtained no right to have his version of the play performed, as he had signed that away, under pressure by Myer Mermin, an attorney for Otto Frank, of the law firm Paul, Weiss

  • @dog4company He brought suit against the producers and writers of the Broadway play, alleging that they had appropriated a number of Levin's original scenes from his adaptation. .

  • @dog4company Levin later became obsessed when Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett were later substituted for him, successfully adapting the diary into a hit play, while the play he wrote was rejected.

  • @dog4company Actually Carol Ann Lee has written a biography about Otto Frank, too.

  • @dog4company These texts were written by a graphological researcher, and are not included in any edition of the diary (apart from the Critical Edition, where photos of the annotation sheets are reproduced). In July 2006, the BKA found it necessary to state in a press release that the 1980 investigation cannot be used to call the authenticity of the diary into doubt.

  • @dog4company In short: the ‘ballpoint myth’ is easy to disprove. The careless wording of the BKA report from 1980 – a report that for the rest in no way challenges the authenticity of the diary – or at any rate its openness to several interpretations, has taken on a life of its own in extreme right-wing circles. The "ballpoint myth" is based on the simple fact that, around 1960, two annotation sheets with ballpoint writing were inserted between the original pages.

  • @dog4company In 1987, a Mr Ockelmann from Hamburg wrote that his mother had written the annotation sheets in question. Mrs Ockelmann was a member of the team that carried out the graphological investigation into the writings of Anne Frank around 1960.

  • @dog4company They were clearly placed between the other pages later. The researchers of the Forensic Institute also concluded that the handwriting on these two annotation sheets differs from the writing in the diary "to a far-reaching degree." Photos of these loose annotation sheets are included in the NIOD’s publication (see The Diary of Anne Frank: The Revised Critical Edition, 2003, pages 168 and 170).

  • @dog4company The BKA’s task was to report on all the texts found among the diaries of Anne Frank, and therefore also on the annotations that were made in Anne’s manuscripts after the war. However, the Dutch investigation by the Forensic Institute in the mid-1980’s shows that writing in ballpoint is only found on two loose pages of annotations, and that these annotations are of no significance for the actual content of the diary.

  • @dog4company The origin of the "ballpoint myth" is the four-page report that the Federal Criminal Police Office (the Bundeskriminalamt or BKA) in Wiesbaden, which was published in 1980. In this investigation into the types of paper and ink used in the diary of Anne Frank it is stated that "ballpoint corrections" had been made on some loose sheets.

  • @dog4company The appartments around them were also factories. Anyway, back to your denial that Annes diary is a forgery, All the diary entries are written in various types of ink and (coloured) pencil, not in ballpoint. The document analysis by the Netherlands Forensic Institute showed that the main part of the diary and the loose sheets were written in grey-blue fountain pen ink.

  • @dog4company Actually Carol Ann Lee holds records of Silberbauer interviews, like those done with Jules Huf (which was printed in 'Justic Not Vengeance') about the arrest of Anne Frank and the others. Ofcourse also interviews with Otto Frank, Miep Gies and the other helpers about that day.
