I can never imagine my mother going through pain and dying alone..they remind me exactly of me, my younger sister and my mom. Our 3 personalities are similar! One that did was Kitty Hart Moxon, she went back in 1979 and made a vid. It's a 14 part series called "Kitty Return to Auschwitz", it's posted on YouTube. It's very amazing if you are interested.
This makes me think- To be honest I don't care about myself dying as much as my family members suffering...esp. alone. I hate to see pain on people's faces. Hate it so I can't imagine that horror and the horrors that go on part of daily life in this world. But Anne Frank gives a voice to the silent millions and makes you think so much.

For instance Herta Bothe, a guard, received a 10 year prison sentece, released in 1951, lived till 2000. Belsen was absolutely hell on Earth. For anyone that is interested, there is a book called The Last Seven Months of Anne Frank written by Willy Lindwer. As you can imagine it aint easy reading but I tried to write a screenplay on Anne Frank so had to use all the sources available to me. It remains to be the only book I have ever read that made me cry each time I opened it. That young girl went through so much shit its hard to comprehend, but on a brighter note, she is in the dictionary. She will live forever.
the whole story of the Frank family, is completely heartbreaking. what the Germans did..........but Anne Frank, still believed people were good at heart. I really look up to Anne....shes my inspiration.
Anne Frank was incapable of using a toilet & frequently wet/soiled herself. She was covered with her own bodily excretion, in which she ate, when found by the Gestapo in 1944. In Auschwitz-Birkenau, she was referenced as “Crazy Annie” & was transferred, not gassed?, to Belson Bergen to remedy her mental delusions/illness. She had delusions her shit were Hershey chocolate delights.
Wow, it shocks me to say the least, Anne's dream was to become famous (or an actress) and her dream came true. Look at those views, people. Look at how many videos there are of her, a movie, and her diary is now a published book! Yes, she did die in the holocaust BUT her dream didn't die. It came true. ^^

I think that with the publication of the diary and the fact that Anne Frank is well-known(and this video) puts the human face on the atrocities committed in the Holocaust and helps to stop the numbers of people who were killed as being thought of as statistics(i.e.there were 11 milion murdered).

I first read Anne's diary when I was 10 or 11. From that moment and until this day I've investigated the Holocaust and its victims (and perpetrators) with the most chilled of eyes - - - how could ANYONE do these things to another human being? It should never be pinned on just Hitler...someone needs to coin "Hitler & Company". He had help...lots and lots of willing help.

For anyone that is interested, there is a book called The Last Seven Months of Anne Frank written by Willy Lindwer. As you can imagine it aint easy reading but I tried to write a screenplay on Anne Frank so had to use all the sources available to me. It remains to be the only book I have ever read that made me cry each time I opened it. That young girl went through so much shit its hard to comprehend, but on a brighter note, she is in the dictionary. She will live forever.

I think that with the publication of the diary and the fact that Anne Frank is well-known(and this video) puts the human face on the atrocities committed in the Holocaust and helps to stop the numbers of people who were killed as being thought of as statistics(i.e.there were 11 milion murdered).

I first read Anne's diary when I was 10 or 11. From that moment and until this day I've investigated the Holocaust and its victims (and perpetrators) with the most chilled of eyes - - - how could ANYONE do these things to another human being? It should never be pinned on just Hitler...someone needs to coin "Hitler & Company". He had help...lots and lots of willing help.

An odd observation: Anne lived through some of the bar none worst conditions with 7 other people in a cramped attic due to the biggest travesty in human history, and yet she still wrote "I believe people are really good at heart." I've met so many people who give up on humanity because of the things they see from the safety of their living room couch on the six o'clock news. Why is it that the people who complain soooo much are the ones who really have absolutely zilch to complain about? Shrug.

@dog4company On top of that denial of the Holocaust, AND Anne Franks diary in most of Europe is forbidden, there are laws in Germany, France and some other European countries that make the spreading of lies about "Auschwitz" – and thus also lies about the diary of Anne Frank – a criminal offence.

@dog4company These texts were written by a graphological researcher, and are not included in any edition of the diary (apart from the Critical Edition, where photos of the annotation sheets are reproduced). In July 2006, the BKA found it necessary to state in a press release that the 1980 investigation cannot be used to call the authenticity of the diary into doubt.

The careless wording of the BKA report from 1980 – a report that for the rest in no way challenges the authenticity of the diary – or at any rate its openness to several interpretations, has taken on a life of its own in extreme right-wing circles. The "ballpoint myth" is based on the simple fact that, around 1960, two annotation sheets with ballpoint writing were inserted between the original pages.

@dog4company In 1987, a Mr Ockelmann from Hamburg wrote that his mother had written the annotation sheets in question. Mrs Ockelmann was a member of the team that carried out the graphological investigation into the writings of Anne Frank around 1960.

The researchers of the Forensic Institute also concluded that the handwriting on these two annotation sheets differs from the writing in the diary "to a far-reaching degree." Photos of these loose annotation sheets are included in the NIOD’s publication (see The Diary of Anne Frank: The Revised Critical Edition, 2003, pages 168 and 170).

@dog4company The BKA’s task was to report on all the texts found among the diaries of Anne Frank, and therefore also on the annotations that were made in Anne’s manuscripts after the war. However, the Dutch investigation by the Forensic Institute in the mid-1980’s shows that writing in ballpoint is only found on two loose pages of annotations, and that these annotations are of no significance for the actual content of the diary.

In this investigation into the types of paper and ink used in the diary of Anne Frank it is stated that "ballpoint corrections" had been made on some loose sheets.

Anyway, back to your denial that Annes diary is a forgery, All the diary entries are written in various types of ink and (coloured) pencil, not in ballpoint. The document analysis by the Netherlands Forensic Institute showed that the main part of the diary and the loose sheets were written in grey-blue fountain pen ink.

@dog4company Actually Carol Ann Lee holds records of Silberbauer interviews, like those done with Jules Huf (which was printed in 'Justic Not Vengeance') about the arrest of Anne Frank and the others. Ofcourse also interviews with Otto Frank, Miep Gies and the other helpers about that day.
